We cannot speak highly enough of John. From the start of dealing with him he has been extremely professional and helpful. We have had our home remodelled and an extension built that he drew up the plans for. Although we had some ideas, we were rather vague on specifics. John was recommended to us by our builders and in the first instance he listened to what we wanted/required and made suggestions based on that. He was also very patient with us when we wanted to make changes to the initial plans and in guiding us through the whole process of applying for planning permissions etc. (he did all of that, keeping us informed all the time). We would have no hesitation in using John again or recommending him to others.

Very professional. Explained everything in detail so as not to mislead. Quick service with plans forwarded within 3 weeks. Plans drawn up well in advance of work to be carried out. Costs quite reasonable for work involved.

We found John to be professional and prompt in all his dealings with us. It was the first time we had commissioned an architect and were grateful for John's expertise and advice. It was also good to have all the "official paperwork" sorted by John, leaving us to decide on the aesthetics of our build.

JPL Design and Construct completed the design and plans for our one storey extension. We were very pleased with the outcome and we felt comfortable to approach John when discussing the development of the plans. John kept us up to date with details of the planning permission process and answered our questions in a way which made things clear. He responded quickly to our emails and was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. We would recommend JPL Design and Construct and would certainly use their service again if we decided to make any further changes to our property in the future.

John designed the plans for our single storey extension and from the very start of the project he was extremely friendly and professional. John initially came to visit our property which gave us the confidence that he could fully understand what we wanted to achieve. John has done fantastic plans for our extension and made great suggestions to make our initial ideas even better. We had a lot of communication with John throughout the design of the plans, he always came back to us quickly and he was very patient with us when we wanted to see different options. John also helped with getting the structural engineers report and has also put us in touch with a builder he recommends who we have met and are very impressed with. Our extension will be starting later this year and we are confident that from the plans, we will achieve exactly what we want. We are very pleased with the high level of service that we received.

John provided some great ideas for a new layout of an old bungalow and really helped us to visualise what we could do with the space. He provided all drawings and structural specifications and worked hand in hand with our builder to ensure the job was completed correctly and to specifications. Really friendly and approachable and we would definitely use him again. We highly recommend.

From the first meeting we knew John was the man for our job. He understood what we wanted, along with a great understanding of what planning would be looking for, as such the entire process was streamlined and stress free. John listened to what we were looking for and came up with a plan that was far better than anything we had been enabled to imagine. He was great at then making tweak after tweak as we developed the plan into our home. He even recommended our builders who have been fantastic and as a result we’re approx 8 weeks to the end of our build. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very happy with the service, explained everything well and was with us through all the steps of planning, and when there was an issue, (as there usually is with planning) he give us the alternatives that would suit. We now have a great 2 storey extension. Builder was very happy with the plans and had no issue putting the plans to the full build. John helped to turn my scribble of an idea in to reality. He took the time to meet with me and understand what I wanted to achieve. He made the whole process very straightforward and gave great ideas on how I could make it even better. He kept me informed throughout the whole process to then achieve the planning permission I wanted. I would highly recommend John, it’s clear he has great knowledge and experience in the industry.

We can't fault a thing. Very impressed with John he has a real personal approach to his work, meeting up with us when required to discuss requirements and smooth over any concerns or queries, we found him highly motivated with great attention to detail, and the ability to deliver drawings on time and amend to our needs. We employed JPL Design and Construct for a ground floor extension which included initial meet, survey, multiple drawings (several revisions), planning permission and building regulations. John took care of the whole project with great skill, professionalism and patience. A pleasure to deal with. Everything went perfectly and we are very happy with the work conducted.
