Light. Line. Shadow. I originally trained as an architect and went on to build a career as an industrial designer. Now living in Bath, United Kingdom and surrounded by the wonderful architecture, I've returned to my first love – drawing beautiful buildings. The light, honey-coloured limestone produces a fantastic array of colours – from warm earthy tones, through cool blue-greys and moss-laden greens. Using the skills I gathered over the years, I've attempted to capture these colours using traditional draughting and rendering methods with hand-ground Chinese inks and watercolour. Each drawing takes several weeks to produce. No shortcuts. I hope when you view my drawings, you will see these lovely buildings as I do: Worn and weathered over the years, but glorious in their design, structure and uniqueness... My drawings can be reproduced in a variety of sizes to fit any interior or design scheme. I also accept commissions and can work to specific briefs and colour palettes.
