I bought a limited edition piece of art (photographs of a Washington Fire Hydrant) from Hilary Stock to hang at home. It was beautifully put together and the framing is top quality. I have enjoyed it hanging in my kitchen every day since.
CLARISSA PARISH

Mural by Clarissa Parish I have planned my new Orangery for 20 years, the base went down in 2007 and I knew exactly what I wanted but never thought about a mural until I understood that Clarissa had moved into the village. What she painted was beyond my wildest dreams. I said that I wanted a sub tropical forest along the whole of the back wall – she produced two or three designs, we agreed and she started to paint. It was as if she was doing it in a trance – there seemed to be no effort and what appeared happened very quickly and very beautifully. As we moved along, I made some suggestions – how about a gorilla, a kingfisher overlooking my fish tank – each time they were painted life size and in perfect detail. I think she is probably in Harry Potter as she is a magician! Everyone who comes to the Orangery marvels at the beauty of what she has created. Most certainly recommend her services. Mark Howard Jones

Do you wish to be involved and consulted fully in the creation of your own art work? If so, then Mark Jones should be one of your chosen artists. Mark interviewed me sensitively, to discover precise details of the story that I wanted included in my commissioned painting. The vibrant colours in the painting encapsulated the landscape of the Green Spain of my memories. In another commissioned work for me, Mark explored heraldic forms, meanings and colours to create a striking painting of a vintage bicycle. Do you want art work which can be enjoyed in a home and not just in a gallery? Mark uses strong colour and bold images to paint clear, lyrical stories. He has painted stories of Roman amphitheatres, of cafés in Tuscany, of cafes in Hampshire’s New Forest and of the simple pleasure of dog walking.

We had a number fo run down garages on the Barnsbury Estate where youths were hanging around and causing anti-social behaviour. The garages were at the rear of the youth club so I decided to repair them, paint them and do the garage numbers in a graffiti style. The idea was to get the youth involved in anti-social behaviour to help paint the garages. A multi-agency project between Community Payback, Surrey Probation Service, Neighbourhood Services, Youth Services, Surrey Police and New Vision Homes was organised so the look of the area could be improved. I contacted Kev and he replied promptly and once we had agreed a price he sent me an outline of the designs for each garage. Kev was charming and polite and his designs were colourful and quirky. The event was held on 29 July 2013 and was attended by members of the Community Safety Team and the local Councillor. Kev was great with the kids and they responded well to him as he showed them the correct way to use a spray can. The project was nominated for a TPAS 'Excellence in Youth Involvement Award'. Kev is very polite, courteous, hard working and talented. His designs are quirky, bold and playful and he was an excellent choice for this project. He has also worked with us at one of our Residents Days where he did an art project with some of the kids. I'm sure I will be working with him again
Starlight Murals

I asked Maria if she could produce an enlarged version of a representation of the sun onto a 1m square canvas, to create a point of interest for the otherwise white walls and ceiling in my daughter's room. The care Maria took in understanding just what we wanted was encouraging and she went on to produce a stunning piece. Her attention to the detail was wonderful. I can highly recommend Maria's work and also her customer service.

I found Aasiri’s painting on on etsy site and bought it even if it was smaller than I actually had planned yo buy. Aasiri was so kind, she made a small painting in similar style and gave it to me as a thank you present I absolutely love my paintings and even more so after my artist friend, Peter Andrew, built box frames for them. The colours are so vibrant, they make me happy watching the paintings and you find something new in them all the time. I can heartily recommend Aasiri!

After viewing Penny’s website, I was stunned and impressed how she started to paint with both hands. For me this made the artwork flow. The painting, one of a few I chose showed me a view that reminded me of a real place, with depth and reflection that I can loose myself over and over again.
