My name is Jenny Dees Barnett. I am the owner of Sweetly Salvaged. I make everything from picture frames & playhouses to magnificent driftwood tree sculptures and everything in between. My Heart and soul goes into everything I make. I specialize in custom orders. 98% of the materials I use are all recycled , re-purposed, salvaged. To me there is something simply beautiful about a piece of wood that is 98 years old. It is flawed with character and its amazing. I work extremely hard to find all my materials. most of my wood you will not find at your local lumber store or hardware store that is for sure. I am very passionate about everything I do.

While mostly self-taught, Anne credits her intro to pottery to Toronto potter, John Jarvis, as well as to Marilyn Farrell, who kindly invited her to work in her studio in King’s Landing, New Brunswick, in the spring of 1998. Anne chooses to work mainly on the potter’s wheel, in both high-fire stoneware and porcelain, producing both utilitarian and decorative one-of-a-kind pottery. “I really like the clean, graceful, and classic forms that can be achieved on the potter’s wheel, especially ones that can stand on their own without adornment, but are a good foundation for most any decoration, whether it be a simple glaze, free form brushwork, or carved design.” Most of her current work involves carved bas relief, sgraffito, and brushwork designing techniques, and increasingly draws design inspiration from the plentiful varieties of vegetation and wildlife on the Gulf Coast.
