MillChris have completed various jobs on my house over ten years, from major projects such as new garage with an apartment above, new brick 8 foot wall to surround a large part of our garden, refurbishment of various rooms, a new gym complex with built in sauna as well as regular maintenance, plumbing and electrical work. Always done with fantastic attention to detail, high quality, courteous and efficient manner, and everything clean and tidy at the end of the working day. I would recommend them over any other firm we have ever experienced.

We are both so happy with our new Home. All the staff at Sprinks Construction (including their sub-contractors) have been conscientious, helpful, tidy and polite and we can’t praise them enough. It was a real pleasure working with them. Although we did have some delays at the beginning with regard to the excavation and building of the basement, the progress once we were out of the ground was amazing. Both Adam Petley, Construction Director, and Chris Petley, our foreman, worked closely with us at all times. They kept us informed at all stages of the build as well as suggesting and implementing many improvements to the original design/plans. Our house sits well in its plot between two Edwardian villas, the design is modern but not imposing. We are more than happy with its design and the quality of the build, we wanted a house that is airy and light, with clean lines and colours – and thanks to Sprinks we have achieved this. The living space in the house turned out to be bigger than expected and to our delight we still have space for a garden and plants both at the front and the back of the property. We are also very happy with our rear patio, with gabion benches, and an outdoor kitchen area with pizza oven. We just want to say a big thank you to all the staff of Sprinks Construction both on site and in the office for their contribution to our lovely New Home. John & Ulrike

They have been excellent in turning an old and tired house into a spectacular modern home. Moreover they achieved this on time and in line with the original budget.

We are in the process of planning to have our entire house extended and renovated. From the beginning Chris has been professional and helpful in every respect. The plans he completed for the planning office were very detailed. His help in dealing with the planning department was crucial in us obtaining the final approval. We will now work with Chris on the building specifications, choosing builders and use Chris to manage the rest of our project. I am certain he will make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Paul designed a house small extension for us and we really liked his thoughtful approach. He listened to and discussed our requirements and came up with a great layout to efficiently use the limited space in a very practical manner. One of the builders to quote for the work was so impressed by the plans that he asked for Paul's contact details.

Having decided to extend our cottage, which has a Grade 2 listing attached, we knew we would need to get an experienced architect who had the knowledge and expertise in dealing with the local English Heritage Planning Department. Cheryl Appleby from Appleby Blanco designed our project and without her expertise and excellent communications, as well as working alongside with a Listed Planning Consultant, our project may never have got off the ground. It’s transformed our home and has given us the extra rooms we never thought possible. Thank you

As a grade 2 listed public house we doubted the likelihood of gaining the permission we needed to extend our bustling bar area and kitchen below. From start to finish John and Tim couldn't have been more helpful. Always in contact when the situation changed and always at the end of the phone to answer any queries. They attended all site meetings with the council and full permission was granted swiftly. We couldn't fault the plans either. From the first meeting they understood our vision and transferred that to paper perfectly. Would certainly use again.

Faryearny Ltd was selected following an extensive search and tendering process, both through my architect contact and a trusted trader website. The work involved extensions at two cottages in Littlebourne, both within the Village Conservation Area. Paul Turner's brickwork is impressive - brick pattern and colour matching to existing stock was great. There were several complex decisions on steel work and footing construction requiring quick decisions to meet various BCO demands and relating to speedy concrete delivery. Paul managed this routinely and liaised effectively with myself, the Structural Engineer and other officials and professionals involved. Given that I was also involved in parallel building work (3 x bathrooms, internal ceiling joinery, general decoration work and joinery, roof work etc), Paul was very accommodating and helpful in providing support and equipment to me as needed. Sub-contractors were competent and included electrician, plumber, groundworks, and roofers. Significantly, all prices quoted were maintained in full. Costs and charges were meticulously handled through Faryearny's impressive invoicing. Additional items over and above the agreed Statement of Works, were clear and discussed in full before committing. Finally, Paul's quote was one of the best and most detailed I received. Overall, I would strongly recommend Paul and Faryearny.
