“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“Love my garden makeover! Transformed a dull square laid to lawn plot into an oasis of calm. The combination of wildflowers, prairie planting, and year round interest continues to give me (and the local wildlife) pleasure. We asked the team to come back and redesign our front garden too. “Very impressed by this firm. It's true to say that they took us 'on a journey', converting our small garden which had become a bit of a 'rewilding project' to something beautiful and usable. Scott visited us, and we decided to go for his design service, and he came up with three plans. Once the garden was cleared of four Leylandii and an apple tree, he came up with a fourth which we ultimately went with. Once the work started, we soon saw that James, the foreman on site, was a real perfectionist, and ably assisted by Jim and Mikey, it was a delight to see a mess transformed into something we're looking forward to using. After completion, we had a couple of minor snagging issues, and all resolved speedily and to our complete satisfaction. Apart from anything else, they're all nice people, and we're missing them already. No hesitation in recommending this firm.”

“Aye Gardening completed a re- landscaping project for us in Jan 2017. Although not a large area it was quite a complicated project involving different levels, drainage issues, access issues and heavy clay soils. We found them to be extremely professional, always on time and made many excellent suggestions. We will certainly use them again, we are delighted with the results.”

“Abel Landscaping and Darren have made a First Class job of my Driveway, Patio and Artificial Grass to a very high standard. This was all done while I was away on holiday, I was kept informed of all progress on a daily basis with pictures sent to my Mobile phone. That's what I call going the extra mile. I had some additional work done and was kept fully informed of any additional costs as when this happened. Thomas who installed my Driveway, Patio and Grass is one of the best Ground workers I have come across, with so much knowledge and great recommendations.”

“We have a 140ft long/30ft wide garden. We gave Joanne a remit to create a garden with borders of plants and flowers which would provide year round interest, attract bees, provide lovely scent, and be easy to manage. She produced a garden design which surpassed our requirements. She spent a lot of time discussing planting schemes with us, and took control of the order and delivery of the plants. She also organised and managed the building work which included a curved brick pathway, patio, and seating area. Her attention to detail, her creative flair, and her ability to translate our requirements into a wonderful garden which looks beautiful all year round, is amazing.”

“We have a small city-centre back garden and two young children. Anita visited and talked through our ideas for how we could create a safe space for the children to play and also somewhere we could sit and relax in. She listened to our ideas, asked questions and made suggestions, to help understand exactly what we needed. The resulting designs, planting plan and cost breakdown were clear, beautifully put together and promptly delivered, and have given us a brilliant plan to follow. Anita was patient, informed and creative, and also very relaxed about whether we went ahead with her plan in full, with her help to build the structures and do the planting, or chose another supplier, or just undertook the plans step by step ourselves. The whole experience was incredibly helpful and enjoyable. We're following Anita's design together in stages ourselves and the garden is already transformed into a space we use everyday.”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”
