“We hired Nick and Paul at Raylian to lead a tricky 550 m2 office conversion into residential space in a prime location central Chiswick. Along with the practice personal creative skills I was very impressed by their technical know how. The teams knowledge of building regulations, local authority planning requirements and technical building skills saved me a substantial amount in architects fees and it was comforting to experience their confidence when addressing the builders and trades and the respect they attracted. The creative design planning stage and specification for finishes and furnishings was professional and stress free. It was great to have a designer sketch their ideas while explaining their thoughts. Discussing ideas in 3D is a real advantage. Given the licence to express themselves they came up with some really great ideas. Project management was equally important, especially with all the H&S requirements attached to the industry these days. I also felt once the budget was approved they made a good effort to protect it right through to completion. The quote we received from him was the most detailed everything from skips through to decorating was covered. The building both started and finished on time and the quoted price was very accurate. The employees and all the contractors were friendly and cleaned up after themselves. “In November last year, 2020, during a period of lock down, we had a serious water leak under our kitchen floor, and no idea what was causing it. I contacted Pegasus, our local builder, to seek help as a matter of some urgency! Although clearly busy, Pegasus responded straight away, sending a senior manager to assess the situation, which my wife and I - senior citizens who live on our own - much appreciated. They were then able to provide a very good workman to investigate and identify the cause of the leak which was then quickly rectified. Further work was then carried out to repair the damage prior to another local company laying the new floor covering. We are very grateful to Pegasus for their prompt action leading up to Christmas, to what was to us a crisis; all those we met and spoke to were always very helpful and pleasant and thoroughly professional and workmanlike at all times.”
