We hired Monita to design our our renovation project. She has been instrumental in making the space work for us. Her unique design vision enabled us to make changes we never would have thought of ourselves. From the word go, she closely worked with our architect to ensure that all our needs were met. Monita has been flexible and supportive throughout the building project, continuously adapting to necessary changes along the way. She really listened to what we liked and disliked and always came up with a solution. Her excellent communication and positivity has meant that she has been a pleasure to work with throughout the project. She has an eye for detail and is meticulous in her approach. She provided us with design plans, mood boards, tiling templates and electrical templates, along with some product selection too. I would highly recommend Monita for any level of design. She is an extremely talented and professional individual.

Via referral from a trusted friend, we engaged Monita for interior design services forward from the point of receiving planning permission for the extension and complete renovation of our home - now a 5 bedroom, detached house situated on the London / Surrey fringes. First meetings with Monita were held in April, with the build due to commence just 8 weeks later. In hindsight we should have appointed Monita much earlier to work alongside the architect, but we were very skeptical of involving an interior designer. We wrongly had negative stereotypes in our head, didn't appreciate the value, and assumed the fees would be a big consumer of our tightly planned budget for a large project.... how wrong we proved to be. Despite my wife and I being employed in busy roles full-time and being parents of two lively under 7-y-o children, we foolishly thought we could play the role between us. Working hastily within the scope of the approved plans and the desired project timelines, Monita immediately demonstrated he value. 2-D architectural drawings were quickly brought to life - 3-D visuals incorporating her expertise and our lifestyle requirements were presented to us in almost no time. For the first time since the project was dreamt up we had a real feel of what we were working towards - all the ideas brought together and cast onto a 3-D graphic. Not only did the project seem real for the first time, all of the involved parties had a single vision of the goal to reference - language barriers, differences of understanding, personal opinion etc became irrelevant. The 3-D visuals set the goal but that was just the start of Monita's work. Moodboards, budget planning & allocation, room floor plans, room elevations, lighting plans, electrical templates and more were all produced to drive the project to the goal outlined at the start. Each deliverable had a purpose, high-quality presentation, and left no room for debate across the suppliers commissioned to build & decorate. Every chosen fitting had a defined destination down the millimetre - whether it be a shower head or a toilet roll holder, the suppliers were crystal clear on what they had to do. When there was doubt or issue, Monita was on hand - available by phone, impromptu site visit or via a planned meeting. Historical experience with kitchen and bathroom design was also brought to bear, and ensured quality of service from chosen product suppliers. Monita was able to challenge them where appropriate and also supply products at rates not available via retail routes. The combination of trade pricing, time saved on design speculation & correction, quality checking of the project against plan, and the benefit of choosing the right products first-time far out-weighed the investment. Our build has completed on time, to the budget we instructed, and has given us back a quality of home we thought only was possible on TV shows. We would not hesitate to recommend or commission Monita again.

Monita is a an extremely talented, reliable, and trustworthy interior designer. I requested Monita's help to design my 4 bedroom house, with a specific budget in mind. Monita has a very good eye in design and product selection, and was able to design the rooms beyond my expectation with such specific budget. I am definitely impressed! She is a pleasure to work with, and is very understanding of my needs/theme I have in mind for the house. She is professional, approachable and helpful as well (I am currently pregnant, and she has been a tremendous help). She was able to complete the project in timely manner, with good communication. I am glad Monita helped us with the refurbishment of our house. Her vision and designs were amazing and she gave us very practical and affordable suggestions to bring our dream home to life. She was extremely patient with us and her detailed 3d rendering helped us visualize the finished product even before the builders started work.
