Ivan Simpson Bathroom + Kitchens + Tiles

Ivan Simpson installed an excellent ensuite in Jan 2023. Just before the Easter weekend, the LED mirror developed a spontaneous fault - it would not switch off. I called the office and spoke to David who first asked me to check out the electrics when I got home. I called again David who took me through the checking and the problem persisted. David then contacted the company (Geberit) who took a long while to respond. However David persisted with follow up emails and telephone calls and it took nearly 6-8 weeks for the company to formally respond asking for pictures and videos of the fault, I sent this over quickly following which the company sent over a replacement LED mirror one fine morning to my surprise without prior information! David was unaware of this too it seems. Soon after, David sent over his workman who took off the faulty mirror and installed the new one immediately. We received an excellent service from David and his team last year but the follow up action has been even more impressive. They are a professional yet conscientious company who have the customers' interests right where it should be. Very responsive to the customer's needs as this incident clearly demonstrates. I cannot praise them any higher!

Absolutely love our new bathroom! We had a great experience from beginning to end. No hick ups at all, the whole project ran very smoothly. All of the staff at Ivan Simpson are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They know their stuff for sure. We would recommend them for any services, their product knowledge is fantastic. We definitely wont hesitate to use them again in the future for our en suite and downstairs toilet. We used our own fitter who recommended Ivan Simpson to us. Excellent advice on the design and clean and efficient workmanship.

We had just had our new bathroom delivered to our house. The house underwent a sincere modernisation and David guided us through the process on choosing kitchen appliances, bathroom design and selecting the suitable bathroom furniture. All in open discussion weighing pro's and cons of the different options and all with best value for money at the forefront. We had tons of questions and all were answered patiently by David and Aimee. Top notch company, well recommended.

Just completed our 2023 kitchen project from Ivan Simpson Kitchens and we can highly recommend them. When we met the design team (David & Aimee) we were keen to browse the high-end products from Pronorm. They gave us lots of options and advice which enabled us to take away some ideas that would eventually bring together a kitchen design that met our needs. David kindly arranged a visit to the Consentino factory in Darlington so we could view our chosen counter tops in full scale rather than using a small sample. The counter tops were fitted by R O Surfaces Newcastle who were extremely professional and did a fantastic job. We'd also like to mention their multi-skilled kitchen fitters (Malcom & Alan) who have many years experience and did a fabulous job installing our kitchen units and appliances.

We approached Ivan Simpson to refurbish our main bathroom and master Ensuite, we had several problems with the previous design and functionality of the bathrooms and called on David to help us problem solve and advise on options to maximise space ! We were were fully involved in the design process, the clear plans, timescales and excellent project management from the point of design, removal of waste and skip hire to the fitting and final finish was very assuring throughout the process.The quality and choice of bathroom fittings was fantastic and we were helped with making decisions assisted by the visuals provided ! John leading the fitting team was superb, very professional and provided great customer service and quality workmanship, we had a couple of issues with external providers however this was managed by the team at IS and they provided ongoing communication to resolve the problem. I cannot highly recommend the company enough.

Aimée put together a great 3D design for the proposed bathroom. We stuck with this throughout the project and are very happy with the results. We even used the colours that she proposed. Many thanks Aimée!

At Ivan Simpson bathroom & kitchens nothing was too much bother. Showroom staff very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Their advice was invaluable and we were well looked after. Our goods arrived exactly when promised, no problems with delivery and most of all our new bathroom looks fabulous. I could not recommend Ivan Simpson Bathrooms & Kitchens more highly, from on our first visit to the showroom where we met Aimee and David to discus our bathroom makeover, we found their knowledge and advice to be second to none. We then arranged for a home visit for a survey which was done by Ivan, again we found Ivan's knowledge and advice to be invaluable. The quote was received within a few days and we decided to go ahead with the work, which was a complete re-tile, new shower cubicle, radiator, sink and draw unit and laminate flooring, the job was scheduled to take up to 2 weeks but was finished ahead of schedule 6.5 days to a very high standard, my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. All involved with the work were very professional and skilful, from John and Gavin the bathroom fitters to the other John the van delivery man. All work completed by fitters John and Gavin was to a very high standard and attention to detail was fantastic, they worked tirelessly each day from start to finish, Aimee attended to check midway and at completion of the job all are an asset to the company and should be commended for their work.

David and his wonderful team spent a considerable amount of time helping us plan our ensuite bathroom to our requirements. Their approach was professional yet friendly. David has a vast resource of knowledge and experience in building which I found very useful during helpful discussions. My wife and I never felt rushed at any point having to make decisions so that the job could be quickly finished. It was all about planning everything to the last detail BEFORE the work started. As expected, there were no surprises when the work commenced and no (unexpected) additional work or expenses after the work commenced. We trusted them so much that the work was carried out over two weeks while we are mostly abroad. On our return, we were delighted with the work and visited the showroom to express our gratitude. David also sent his team later to do some finishing touches and has promised to come and inspect the work himself. There is of course a price to pay but if you wish to have quality, a team sticking to an agreed plan and plenty of time for discussion and decision making before commencing work, this is the place to go.
