From start to finish two words stand out, Quality and Perfection,
First off this is not a case of “just replace the old with new”
Yes we could have gone to our local Big and Que! Or Mr Wilks DIY Store for one of their “off the shelf bathrooms” and had Bodge it and Scarper fit it for us,
But what we actually wanted for our bathroom is not available “off the shelf”
So after several searches of our local (North West) bathroom suppliers and installers, we could not find what we were looking for, someone who manages the whole process from initial design thru to the completed bathroom,
Design supply install along with all the other alterations we required.
Then we came across Langley interiors, and we were impressed from the start, just by viewing their website as to just what they can offer.
So we booked an appointment to view their showroom, and meet with Debra, and Peter the designer.
On arrival at the showroom, all I can say is wow… Very impressive, the quality stands out a mile,
Debra showed us around the showroom, asked what we were looking for in a new bathroom and what requirements and changes we had in mind, and if we had a budget in mind,
Then after talking about what they can actually do to a bathroom, we booked a home visit so that Peter the designer could measure up our bathroom and see just how much work would be involved in transforming our bathroom. We did have an idea how we wanted our new bathroom to look, a full width shower room with seating, and the old shower removed and made into a large storage cupboard everything really literally from the celling to the floor,
After Peter’s visit to our home, we were invited back to look over the drawings, and make any comments and or alterations, colours etc, which we did, with Peter taking notes, A new set of drawings were produced with the alterations included, we reviewed and approved them, and signed them off and Agreed a start date.
The date arrived and a plumber from Bain Plumbing services, along with Jamie and peter, arrived on site and within a day the old bathroom was out, unfortunately the flooring had to be replaced, as in some areas it was in a rather sorry state. So this added some extra time, a new Wall hung toilet was fitted, and over the course of the next 4 weeks, the work progressed at a steady rate,
A studded wall was made for the shower valve and to run the pipe work up for the overhead rain shower, the plumber fitted new copper pipes for both the Twin outlet shower valve and vanity unit.
The Full width Versital shower tray was fitted, and versital cut and fitted to all the walls, the roof of the shower enclosure, and around the windows, New lighting was fitted, The Shower enclosure was finished, and Sealed all round,
it was beginning to look like a bathroom again,
Next the Vanity unit was fitted, and plumbed, Drawers fitted, A Cupboard was fitted in to what was the old shower enclosure, complete with shelves and door,
It had all finally come together, and Wow what a bathroom we have now, Luxury is one word you could use to describe it, but I think Utterly Fantastic describes it better,
Considering our house suffered from “settlement” after it was built, none of the rooms or windows are square, it is testament to the quality of workmanship and patience that has produced a truly wonderful bathroom thanks to Jamie, and Peter, and the “Langley team”.
We can highly recommend Langley Interiors;
Their Quality and Workmanship, really does stand out.
