When Ray came to see us to discuss our requirements, we thought we were asking the impossible, to transform our small bathroom into a safer shower room with better access, and also to create a downstairs toilet / cloakroom, without compromising too much on the downstairs space. Ray came up with some great suggestions and advice on how he could meet our requirements and put us at our ease, giving us confidence in his ability to take on the project with his team, from day one. 
Ray took time to ensure that we were happy with everything as the job progressed and his excellent communications with us at all times, were very much appreciated. We cannot thank Ray and his team enough for the professional and efficient way in which they have carried out all of the work, with so much care and consideration for both of us, and all to a high standard. Ray and his team did a wonderful job on our bathroom renovation. The work was done to a high standard and still looks and feels great one year on. Ray was very pleasant to work with, and projected professionalism and competence, from the start. In the initial consultation he took on board all aspects of the brief, suggesting ideas and solutions as needed. The quote process was professional and straightforward, and communication throughout the project was very good. Our project had additional complexities due to the very small size of the room. The bath was replaced with a walk-in shower and the layout was completely changed (from the original) in order to make best use of the space. This therefore involved structural work and significant plumbing work: taking out and rebuilding one of the walls in order to snatch a few more inches from the airing cupboard space; moving the boiler; partially bricking up the window void and fitting a new, smaller window; building a false wall to enable the toilet waste pipe (and other plumbing) to be re-routed; installing a pocket door. None of this presented any difficulty to Ray and his team, all the different trades worked together to achieve a practical and beautiful result. In addition, as a heating engineer, Ray suggested and carried out an upgrade to our hot water system, which has improved heating and hot water services around the whole house as well as ensuring lovely hot showers.

Stanley Services have completed two bathrooms for us and annually service our boiler. They listen to your design needs and make great suggestions to improve them. They clear the site and leave everything clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Stanley Services and will certainly use them again in the future.

Right from the start Ray helped us plan and get the most out of our bathroom we needed to take the bath out and replace it with a walk in shower, we also needed to have gas central heating in our house, we spoke everyday and Ray ensured that we got what we asked for and he also suggested a few things we hadn’t thought, a colour changing light in the shower and Alexa in the bathroom which once completed made showering the children a lot more relaxing for them. Ray and his team were polite and always on time and would tell us what they were doing along the way. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and completed our bathroom and our central heating with very little disruption to our lives. Which was a massive relief to myself. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

After looking online and seeing lots of positive reviews, I decided to go with Ray and Stanley Services for my bathroom installation. Arranging and recieving a quote was easy, which was also very reasonably priced. The weekend before the job was due to begin, unfortunately my partner got covid and I had to cancel, however Ray was very flexible and managed to re-arrange for the following week. When completing the job, the lads were always on time and friendly. Always asked questions if they needed my input and were always able to answer any questions or concerns that I had. There were no issues that could not be resolved. Ray also sourced some granite worktop which made for a very nice finish. The job was completed in a timely manner and I am very happy with the end result, I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.
