Highly recommended This was a full interior remodeling of a flat including complete re-wiring, the removal of walls to open the space, a new kitchen and bathroom with a remodeled bedroom and new levelled flooring throughout. I was not only kept informed at every stage, but also the suggestions, discussions and recommendations showed a real and insightful understanding of my requirements. Liaison with a structural engineer involving the fitting of an RSJ steel support was seamless as were all communications with external agencies. All work was carried out to exceptionally high standards by courteous and knowledgeable experts in each field.

In 2022 Thomson Properties made a brilliant job of our bathroom rebuild. We found the whole team to be collaborative, highly competent and creative. Therefore, when the downstairs cloakroom and the kitchen came up for renewal this year, we had no hesitation in going back to Jamie and his team to undertake the work. We asked for Adam again to do the fitting as he is a problem solver and very hard worker, as well as a pleasure to have in the house. It's an upheaval having your home disrupted for the best part of 6 weeks, but Liam project managed the whole thing with regular visits and calm common sense, Nick & Mark (plasterers) were easy to have around and did their jobs with courtesy & efficiency. Our electrics were dragged into the c21st at last, thank you Nick. Adam returned and every day brought a smile, excellent work ethic, and creative solutions to the entire project. He adds value with the suggestions he makes and sees thorny issues (and the cloakroom threw up a few) as hurdles to be jumped rather than barriers to block. He also leaves the site as tidy as possible every day. It's almost a shame we don't have anything to ask them back for. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jamie & his fantastic team, indeed we've already started.

We are very impressed with the standard of work on our bathroom and cloakroom. Nick who carried out the work was extremely conscientious, helpful and thorough. He had plumbing, plastering and carpentry skills which avoided any need for a succesion of different tradesmen. The company itself is exemplary in its customer relations. We have already requested an estimate for further work.

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. It has transformed our home. We worked with a number of Jamie’s team across the project, and can’t fault any of them. Great care and attention to detail. Super communication throughout the project, and the daily oversight from Jamie and Liam ensured we stuck firmly to the timescale. This is the second time that I have used Thomson Properties Ltd to carry out improvement projects in my home and on each occasion I have not been disappointed. The primary purpose of this project was to replace the flooring of an existing bathroom with a tiled floor. The works consisted of removing the bathroom WC, basin, bath, and radiator, laying the new tiled floor and then refitting the bathroom WC, basin and bath on the new floor with upgraded pipework etc. All was carried out in a thoroughly professional, high-standard manner in the allocated time frame. We had 5 quotes to take a downstairs bathroom out and move it upstairs and turn the old downstairs bathroom into a small larder cupboard and utility area. Thomsons were by far the standout company in terms of their technical understanding of what needed to be done, their quick response and clear and fair quotation after an initial visit. We could not be happier with the work they have completed. Our bathroom, utility room and larder cupboard exceeded our expectations – they truly look fantastic and in keeping with our Victorian cottage. The work was carried out in a timely manner and within expected costs. All the men who worked in our house (plumbers, electricians, carpenters) were polite, tidy (our house was hoovered and swept up at the end of each day) and a pleasure to have around. The work was led by a man called Ben who was outstanding in every way – quiet, unassuming and extremely knowledgeable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Thomson’s – you really will not be disappointed. An excellent company to work with.

The Thompson team delivered a stunning job on our downstairs cloakroom. They converted a very plain, dull, and much used room into something quite lovely! The tiling was so professionally cut and Liam took care of every minor detail. We’ve had nothing but compliments ever since. Liam left the room immaculate every night we barely knew he’d been in. I was so impressed by their extra special touch and will definitely be using them again - a big thank you from us, the Robinsons!

Thomson are top-notch start to finish. Liam came to measure up and put together our quote, and my husband chatted with Jamie in the office re timings and logistics. All great and we appreciated the advice on a couple of bits we were unsure about concerning the shower enclosure. A nice surprise was having our fitting brought forward, so everything was in before Christmas. Ben is a true master of his art. He did a fantastic job. A bit of a tricky install given the space (and slight wonkiness of everything), but you wouldn’t tell from the perfect finish. Super neat (everything clean and tidy at the end of each day) and an attention to detail that clearly shows in the overall result. Highly recommend the Thomson experience end-to-end. If you’re looking for a professional, talented and reliable team that deliver beyond expectations, you don’t need to look any further.
