“We are remodelling and designing building extensions to a house, EDG came up with superb designs we would never have come up with ourselves which are excellent, they have created the plans and done the planning application in a first rate professional manner, they have provided excellent advice and are always available to discuss and give advice, they are really pleasant people to deal with and carried out the task swiftly professionally and at a reasonable price, I would thoroughly recommend them”

“James provided full design and planning for our 2 story extension. He provided an excellent service, his design found a solution to a layout problem we'd been unable to fathom ourselves and we are very happy with the outcome. James was always available, gave excellent advice and won over the planning authority to give us what we wanted. He was great value for money and I have recommended him to friends.”

“We met a few architects and Adrian was the one we warmed to the most. We hit a number of objections with the planners but 6 amended drawings later and Adrian’s patience we got planning permission. Our development is just coming to an end and we are delighted with the results. Now for the hard work, decorating choosing furnishings etc! We would highly recommend Adrian to help with anyone’s project.”

“We initially engaged ParkDesigned (Edward) as a consultant to explore options with our property. Their enthusiasm and design flair turned a dubious ill thought out previous extension into a light filled, modern and very practical place to live. They were able to manage the whole design and planning process which certainly kept stress low. Park also provided us with recommendations re builders which we followed and they also provided management in this aspect as well and although one or two snags occurred during the 9 month project they were dealt with in a professional manner and too our satisfaction I would strongly recommend them - they are currently working on a new project for me and that says it all !”

“The team at transform blowed my wife and I away. The attention to detail and forward thinking shown made them the obvious choice for our stable conversion. As an interior designer I found it hard to find an architect that understood our needs in the way we live and use our home. Transform are the only architects I know of that use a 3D model as standard, which is a tool you simply can not beat for building and renovating a project. We are on the final stage of planning now (green belt) and look forward life in the new extension. Simon Milner-Moore”

“We cannot speak highly enough of Nick and his team. Nick took time to get to know us and our property to ensure the designs created we’re just right for us and our home. He listened to what we wanted (rather than impose his ideas) and then offered different options to develop our idea, based on his experience and skills. The cost estimate was transparent and exactly as expected, as was the project plan presented at the outset. Most importantly, however, when communicating to us any objections raised by the planning office, Nick and his team had already devised a solution with which planning (with whom they obviously have good relations) were satisfied meaning that, despite a number of hurdles, the process was hassle free from our perspective. As I say, extremely impressed and highly recommended.”

“I have used PPIY architects on numerous jobs both in my professional career commissioning social housing projects, and more recently post retirement for the expansion of a Quaker Meeting House. Partners and Associates have always taken pains to understand the brief and have produced solutions which are both elegant and practical. Cost control and attention to detail have been excellent and it has been easy to develop a good working relationship with all staff. Post contract attention to contractor defects has been helpful.”

“We moved back into our house at the end of October 2017 after a wonderful experience of having, to us, undertaken a major building project that began with Andrew Long Architects. At our first meeting with the Architect we discussed the primary objectives that we wanted to achieve in the project and looked at other jobs that needed doing building wise in the house and grounds. We rolled everything into the one project. Following on from that first meeting the Architect then came back with his initial ideas which we found very exciting. The site of our house is challenging because it is on a hill and slopes top to bottom and side to side. There are some mature trees on the boundary. These two factors present challenges that were resolved through the structural engineer that the Architect brought in. The site is not rectangular but has some interesting angles on it which the architect related to in his design with the result that the new extension and rebuilt terrace work in harmony with the shape of the site. From our first meeting we were helped and guided every step of the way. At no time did we feel we were being told what we had to have and suggestions were given with regard to different products to consider when deciding on what finishes we would like. This enabled us to go and see the products for ourselves which really helped in the decision process. One of these is a big feature window which is spectacular. During a course of meetings when the design was honed we felt we got to know the Architect and were confident in putting our complete trust in him and the team at Andrew Long Architects to forward the project through planning, finding a contractor to do the work and project manage the build. All of which were done excellently. We are delighted with the results and have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Long Architects.”
