She listened carefully to the brief, came back with a couple of high quality designs all within a set budget. We were delighted with the result. “We were at a complete block with painting and styling our home and the best choice we have made was working with Alix at Amberley Studio. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from the start. She really listened to us talk about how we use our space and what we were struggling with. Her attention to detail is superb, suggesting some tweaks to existing furniture that didn’t cost anything but have made a huge difference to our day-to-day life that we had never thought of ourselves. My husband had concerns an interior designer might suggest things that weren’t necessarily to our taste but Alix spent time getting to know us both and what we like. One of Alix’s suggestions was to tile a small amount of our kitchen and she found the most BEAUTIFUL tiles (which we both love!) to do that with. From lighting, to paint, to furniture, to small considered details, we are slowly incorporating every single one of Alix’s suggestions into our home. If we ever move, we may need to call her straight away... She is a genius!”

The brief did change, including the introduction of a curve feature known as a 'Lazy S' Throughout the build period, Katie was very supportive and in regular contact with me and the client to ensure the remit was provided as required, on time and within budget. I was impressed with her determination, background knowledge, professional approach, communication skills and her eye on workmanship. During my time on site, i worked along side her team who i found to be exemplary workers, quiet in the execution of their tasks and kept the site tidy.
