We have returned to AND Furniture for bespoke furniture and cabinetry work for various rooms in our home for over a decade. Melanie Nelson is easy to work with and has designed a pieces that are functional as well as smart, modern and elegantly understated. I particularly appreciate how she understands how a commissioned work can enhance other furniture or art already in my home. She works closely with skilled craftsmen to make sure the most suitable materials and finishes are used ensuring that the pieces are robust for a busy family home.

Melanie is a gifted designer both of furniture and complete interiors. She thinks out of the box but at the same time is able to realize concepts and furniture pieces that are quite remarkable. Melanie is very conscientious in interpreting a clients requirements, but is still aware of the practical aspects of executing a design. All in all a great person to work with.

I’ve worked with Mel on several projects now, and she is always a fantastic help. Due to her interior design background, she thinks of all the practical details that one might usually miss, whilst retaining the integrity of the rest of the house in all of the design aspects. Extremely creative, she has a great vision that will make any room stand out, yet still keep with the overall vibe of the house.
