I found their web site and was impressed by the work that was being shown. Having contacted the company I was further impressed by their approach to me .I only wanted a simple chest of drawers but to match the style of similar bespoke furniture that I already had.The attention to detail they gave to finalising the drawing was outstanding and the finished article was all that I could have hoped for. Delivered on time and on budget. Truly professional cabinet makers with a refreshing approach to customer relations.

We are more than delighted with the work that Alan Cooper has carried out at our home. He has created many lovely pieces for us in our Grade II listed townhouse. The design work that he undertakes is carefully considered from many aspects so that the finished product fits beautifully in its surroundings. Alan has an eye for detail and proportion and the pieces that he creates are aesthetically very pleasing. He works in a collaborative manner and liaises with you throughout the project to ensure that the piece is practical as well as attractive. The quality of the work is outstanding and each piece that he creates becomes an elegant focal point in the room. We found out about Alan via word of mouth recommendation when we saw his work in a neighbour’s house. Alan Cooper made and fitted our kitchen some 2 years ago. It is as beautiful now as it was then and is greatly admired by all who see it. He had previously made our TV cabinet and we were so pleased with the quality of workmanship we had no hesitation in using Alan again for our new kitchen. He was easy to work with, kept to a strict schedule and kept within budget! We are to move to West Sussex in the near future and hope we can persuade Alan the journey is not that bad!! We would not hesitate to recommend Alan Cooper to anyone.

Alan designed and then made some superb fitted and free standing furniture for my small London flat - which makes the best of of very limited space, blends with the 1930s features in the flat and my other furniture. He took a lot of trouble to understand my needs and design preferences and then added all of his experience. The furniture is beautifully made and several visitors have asked where it came from. No hesitation in recommending his work.

Alan did a fantastic job of designing & installing beautiful hand painted bedroom wardrobes & playroom storage. He is quite the perfectionist and produces work of incredible quality. He is punctual, trustworthy & tidies as he works. We will book Alan again for our next project.

I contacted Alan after reading all his excellent reviews on the Trust a Trader website or one of those similar sites . This is one of the finest craftsmen I have had the pleasure to employ and he has built us a bespoke office of the highest quality .His meticulous attention to every single detail was a surprise and much appreciated. . He made around 3-4 visits to our home before he commenced the work and drew up a series of very precise 3D plans that made it easy for us to visualise the end product. In addition he is beautifully tidy and and exceptionally courteous. Because he is in such high demand we were happy to get on the waiting list, which at the time was just a few months. We are so delighted with his work that we have engaged him in another project , but again , a bit of a wait, as more people are discovering this exceptional artisan . I can assure you we are not easily impressed , but this is a first class talent that we are delighted to have discovered.He was well worth the wait!!!

Alan has done various pieces of work for me over the last 30 years including kitchen refurbishment, bespoke cupboards, shelving, stable doors, chair repairs etc. The most recent was less than 2 years ago when he made a superb front door and frame in European oak. I have always found his work to be excellent.
