“Tom fitted three bespoke wardrobes in my 17th century cottage,no mean feat with no straight walls plus sloping ceilings and floors! He matched the doors to an existing cupboard in one room and had all new pieces sprayed to match including shelves . Tom also made a small kitchen cabinet sprayed to match existing units wall hung over an oak shelf ( made by Tom)to house the Combi Microwave.He fitted a matching coloured shelf above the Drier plus two more shelves on the cellar. Also he sorted out four oak doors which did not shut properly plus an awkward drawer in the study . Tom removed a built in dishwasher and took it away rehanging the cabinet door so I can get a built in washing machine fitted. “My husband and I approached HS as we were planning on a complete transformation of our new home. We had bought our home as a “project”, which required modernisation and better utilisation of the space. We also wanted to extend into the generous loft space to capitalise on the beautiful views from the top floor. As busy working professionals with young children, we knew we would need help to ensure the project ran smoothly. We would be investing heavily in our property, so were keen to avoid any mistakes being made along the way. Having the costs for the interiors and the build from the outset meant we always felt in control. For such a large-scale project, we stayed remarkably close to the budget agreed at the outset. During the design stage, HS provided us with a scheme for each of the 17 rooms of our property. These schemes were made up of reference images, mood boards, and 3D colour visuals, (which were particularly useful for my husband who by his own admission, struggles to visualise a space). They brought all the samples to us at home so we never even had to leave the house. They understood our style preferences perfectly. HS managed the implementation of the project for us. Because they are always one step ahead, the project has run on time and items have always been on site and ready for the builders at the point they have needed them. Where unexpected design changes were required, such as the opportunity to expose hidden beams or to remove a pillar in the kitchen, HS has been able to quickly adapt their drawings to allow us to move forward without delay. This has dramatically reduced the pressure on my husband and I throughout this transformation. HS has managed to understand our taste and style perfectly. They have given each room its own sense of identity, creating a home for us which feels cohesive throughout. The team has taken greater pride in the finish of rooms, and details around the house than we knew possible, which has hugely enhanced the quality of the final finish.
