King and Webbon

From the moment I first contacted Andy about him potentially building us a banquette, I knew we were in good hands. Andy helped us with our design idea and with numerous visits and drawings, we finally decided on a final draft. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the love he has for his craft was very apparent. He’s an extremely skilled craftsman and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone or even calling on him for another project in the future. Our banquette is of the highest quality and is so comfortable and the wood is so smooth. Thanks so much Andy.

We purchased the Hideout Table and Hideout Bench, they were hand delivered by Andy himself, we absolutely love them. They are even more beautiful in real life than on the site. Definitely our favourite purchase for our new house.

This is the second project Andy has worked on for us. The first was our beautiful dining table. This project was a shelving unit, bedside tables and a couple of drawers to fit in an alcove in our bedroom. They are all absolutely stunning and beautifully made. The craftsmanship is second to none and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I look forward to having more King and Webbon pieces in our house in the future.

Andy's work is just beautiful. The photos don't do justice to his craftsmanship and attention to detail. I was very lucky to purchase a one of a kind lab stool made with Durat and I'll treasure it forever. Andy delivered it promptly after purchase, right to my doorstep. I know for certain that this won't be my last King & Webbon piece.

Bought a Timmy desk and hideout chair from King and Webbon, to my own dimensions. From the very start, I was impressed and put at ease by Andy's excellent communication. He sent me photographs of the furniture when they were finished, and travelled a great distance to actually deliver them in person and discuss points of interest about them. I am very impressed with how well crafted they both are, and am finding them well designed and enjoyable to use. I like the idea that the legs can be removed from the desk if needed for ease of transporting. In conclusion great customer service, high quality and value for money. Many thanks.

During the lockdown I was in need of desk & I’d seen K&W’s take of the old school desk, but the space I had in a smallish alcove was small with walls that weren’t straight, so it was a tricky space to fill. But with great communication between Andy and myself with emails and video calls we started getting together a great design. Andy sent through various designs as “virtual” drawings with measurements, different styles of the legs to chose from, etc. During this phase Andy was happy to tweak the design with some ideas from myself, such as inside and rear cabling holes, we also decided on adding “ink holes” on the top for cables and a pencil groove & quite quickly the design was finalised. Communication throughout was brilliant. After finalising the design the table build was finished within a week and due to the circumstances I was able to pick up the table, which was made of the top, two legs and rear leg brace, and was able to put it together myself. It’s so well made, big allan bolts to hold it together, very stable and solid. Everything fits perfectly, very high level workmanship. The English ash is a lovely piece of wood, it goes so well with the black top, which is made of a material called valchromat and really sets it off, gives it that “old school” desk look. It’s a lovely piece of furniture that’s feels great to own, to know it’s handmade & a piece that will be with me for a long time, hopefully the first of a few K&W pieces!

Andy gave me a fabulous deal on a beautiful table and stool set, and personally drove them up from Bristol to London to ensure everything arrived in pristine condition. Andy's workmanship is exquisite and he's a perfectionist through and through, with a fantastic eye for detail (such as the subtle color tones chosen for the top and bottom surfaces of the table). Fantastic communication and super nice guy. Thrilled with the table and benches and use them every day with immense pleasure. Thanks Andy!!

I highly recommend Andy for his superb craftsmanship and the way he consulted at every step to refine the design of the bespoke American cherry wood desk to my 100% satisfaction. Andy pays meticulous attention to revealing the beauty in the particular wood he is working with and voluntarily added extra features that enhanced the functionality which was a lovely surprise. Very reasonable price for such quality.

I am an interior designer and commissioned King and Webbon to make a bespoke dining table for my client. The end product was more than I’d hoped for and my client was delighted. I was extremely impressed by the quality of craftsmanship. And the commissioning process was a dream. King & Webbon were helpful and responsive. I have since commissioned them again and hope to continue to work with them.

Andy has been working with us throughout the year on a range of projects as part of our top-to-bottom refurbishment (including building replacement internal Georgian-style doors, external Accoya doors, bespoke larder units and matching 200 bottle wine rack, outbuilding units, oak planters and Accoya double-glazed sash windows). I cannot overstate the quality of Andy's work, it is truly exceptional. His attention to detail through both design and build phases is exemplary. Moreover, Andy is an absolute pleasure to work with - he is flexible, considerate, transparent and nothing is too much trouble. Above all, Andy is absolutely focussed on delivering a product that exceeds expectations, has the highest structural integrity and is, obviously, beautifully crafted. My one regret - I wish we'd met Andy a few years earlier!!! I can't recommend him highly enough.
