We asked Matt to design an alcove unit for the living room in our Victorian house. The brief was to have cupboard storage in a base unit, with room for a TV and shelving above. The design stage was very smooth, with initial discussions meaning we had a price range which we were both happy with. We then had a more detailed meeting to nail down final details. I had some quite specific requirements for the Media elements and these were all taking into consideration and discussed, with Matt, on how to achieve the best outcome. Matt was very easy to talk to and very friendly. He was always in touch, when we had any questions and he kept to all the dates we agreed. The installation went very well and the finished piece looks amazing. We have had quite a bit of work done recently and working with Matt from start to finish was the best experience out of all of them.

Mateusz designed and made an incredible built-in wardrobe for our place... Working with him on the design and planning was a lot of fun, from visiting his London Bridge studio, to helping with the install. He managed to create what we wanted on a pretty tight budget. His use of materials and space is inspired, and the idea to incorporate a bookshelf at the end of the wardrobe was a stroke of genius. Mateusz is an artist no doubt , and with this comes a level of artistic stubbornness ;) But all-in-all he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend

Initially hired for carpenting work. Has excellent ideas. Very elaborate. Takes time to listen and explain. True love for design and great materials. Our entrance wardrobe was tricky due to corners and a staircase. But he made it work! Finished work to a very high standard, looking great and still very functional. Build fantastic looking radiator blends for our living room. He is also a fully qualified plumber, so our collaboration moved onto installing new radiators and fixing tabs as well. Extremely versatile skill set. Spray painted our lamps. Changed the glas panel in our kitchen. Always reachable, answers his mobile, does not „disappear" like other builders sometimes do. Does not change agreed fixed prices unless there is a real and fully explainable reason to do so. If things don’t fit, he takes good care of amending in a prompt manner. We mainly worked remotely with him, as we were not living at the place. We found him extremely trustful and reliable, on time and accurate, no bad surprises, which really makes him stand out of the builders crowd. Has great contacts if you want work done in other trade areas, like electric and gas. Works with them and coordinates the work.

Mateusz created a beautiful upright storage unit out of walnut and bamboo florring. The unit fitted my exact specification and the finish was exactly what I wanted. There is no doubt that Mateusz has a great eye for detail and a highly impressive carpentry skill set.
