No.54 Interiors

After some failed attempts at redecorating my master bedroom I decided to look for help and came across No 54 Interiors. I loved their portfolio and they are very local to me so although I assumed that interior designers were only for people with huge budgets I decided to get in touch to check it out – nothing ventured nothing gained! I had a chat with Zoe to find out how the process works and costs involved and when she reassured me that everything could be done within my budget I decided to go for it. Seeing a bathroom that she had designed in her portfolio convinced me that I needed to have my bathroom remodelled as well. While I originally went to No 54 for design ideas I hadn’t realised how invaluable the whole package would be, particularly sourcing all of the furniture, fixtures and fittings which would have taken me forever to do myself. Zoe tuned into exactly what I was looking for with only minor tweaks made to each design and product list. I could not have achieved my dream bedroom and bathroom without her. Whatever your budget I would recommend getting in touch with No54 to make the most of the investment in your home. My only disappointment is that I remodelled my kitchen before finding them!

Zoe recently designed and delivered my upstairs (3 bedrooms and a bathroom) and consulted on the decoration of downstairs. From the initial consultation, right through to delivery, she has been amazing and the results have been truly epic. I am really happy with how everything has turned out, and now have a luxury bedroom, bathroom, office and walk in wardrobe. Zoe proposed a design and layout that not only looked amazing, but was functional. It was really easy to work with Zoe, and being able to bounce ideas off her meant making some changes which really brought the designs to life. The bespoke work and craftmanship was of the highest quality. During the delivery, Zoe project managed everything. It was zero stress, as Zoe was organising the different trades and ensuring the a smooth running of the project. The level of customer service I received was excellent. It was transparent, clear and nothing was too much work or was an issue. Considering the level of change, there was very little impact to me. No. 54 Interiors were a pleasure to work with, and I'd highly recommend them!

I can highly recommend these guys. We have been wall & floor tile installers on a few of Zoe's projects now and her designs are always amazing. The design and quality of finish is excellent and the little details are wonderful. Zoe & Shaun make an amazing team which makes working with them lovely and we get excellent products to bring the designs to life. I am always in awe of the projects, from the start of an empty box to a beautiful home that always suits the clients wants and needs. They never fail to make a room absolutely stunning.

Zoe recently designed 2 amazing new bathrooms for my house in Derbyshire. From initial consultation, where we discussed my functional needs for the rooms, getting the best use out of the small spaces, to then receiving the bespoke, beautiful designs, I was super happy. I now have a luxury bathroom and beautiful shower room all finished, looking amazing and that functionally deliver on everything I need out of those spaces. Zoe and Shaun have undertaken a complete project on our new build property.From the design concept,colour schemes,bespoke carpentry and items of furniture.We have built up a close working relationship with them both and their energy,enthusiasm and attention to detail has been exemplary. Zoe completed the decor for a Georgian farmhouse holiday let. Working with Zoe was a delight, she generously shared her design knowledge, worked to the brief as well as giving a fresh alternate perspective that gave the interior the 5 star feel we wanted. I would highly recommend Zoe and will certainly be asking her to work any new projects in the future.

We moved into our house four years ago and had done practically nothing to it in the interim. We initially engaged Zoe in early 2019 to rejuvenate a couple of fairly drab studies (magnolia walls, oatmeal carpets, you get the drift). From the outset Zoe was infectiously enthusiastic, extremely easy to work with and not only ‘got’ what we wanted, she took it to another level, including projecting our personalities into the spaces. My bland study has become an Uber-cool post-industrial / steam punk office and chill out area / music room, and the other study is now a bright, vibrant workspace which makes much more effective use of space and light. We were so impressed with the results that Zoe has since been back to overhaul our teenage daughter’s bedroom (now with a bohemian vibe which she adores), completely funked up our previously boring downstairs loo (Zoe was just a non-stop ideas machine and had an amazing eye for detail, even in the ‘smallest room’), then followed a total transformation of our living room (from a cold, rarely used room to an amazing 70’s inspired cosy home cinema), hall stairs and landing (jazzy striped carpet and cool greys replacing magnolia and cream), and some tweaks to the orangery. The overall effect is amazing - we both feel completely differently about the rooms and the house has been transformed into a much more sociable, fun place to be. Zoe generated some really innovative ideas that frankly we never would have thought of ourselves. She encouraged us to be bold and we love the results. So much so that she is coming back to do the master bedroom and kitchen in 2020! You may think you have vision and imagination - then you meet Zoe! Highly recommended.

I booked Zoe to do a complete makeover of my unloved bedroom. She was great to collaborate with and quick to understand what I wanted to achieve and how it could be done. When it came to how much I wanted to lead the design process or be led, she got the balance totally right. She was prepared to accept my cushion phobia and in return she showed me that I needed to commit to colour to make this particular scheme work. She was right and I love my bedroom. It is now the calm, cosy sanctuary that I wanted it to be. Zoe designed and project managed the job. She brought in great subcontractors, electrics, plastering and particularly carpentry for my bespoke fitted wardrobes and furnishings for my beautiful handmade curtain. She was happy to discuss everything and clear on cost and timescales, offered a range of options for furniture and lighting in terms of budget and style, was clean and tidy and used eco friendly paint. I am so pleased with how my bedroom is now and hope to get Zoe's help with other rooms in the future!

What a joy to work with Zoe! She has such a professional and efficient manner and a bit of mind reading skills too! Zoe produced some wonderful ideas on Day 1 and has worked with us to turn them into a stylish as well as practical design. Zoe visited our home for a consultation which went over the 2 hours and felt more like a chat with an old friend than a consultation! Zoe has totally inspired me and gave us so many ideas for renovating our home. We have lived here for 4 years and really struggled with the Ground Floor space. Zoe asked lots of questions about how we would use each space and gave us the inspiration to change everything and make it work for our family, by far the best investment yet was the cost of this consultation as I believe it will add so much value to our home in terms of how we actually use the space and indeed we will now make the best use of the rooms in our home. absolutely amazing and would highly recommend.

We have wanted to build our own home for over 20 years. That dream became a reality when we were able to buy a plot of land with old cattle shed with planning permission to convert to a home. The external design was easy – cedar cladding, zinc roof and loads of glass but it was a different story when it came to the interior. Despite lots of research (shows, books and magazines) we didn’t know where to start when faced with the blank canvas of the open plan kitchen, living and dining rooms so that’s when we contacted Zoe. She presented her design and probably was disappointed by our initial muted response. We had probably envisaged the ‘safe option’ of a white or cream kitchen so we needed a couple of days to mull over the proposed design based on a green kitchen. Within a day or two we both realised it could work and now the kitchen is in it is just so right for the space. It is perfect and we are thrilled with it. Zoe helped us choose paint colours and then painted all of the internal rooms for us. She is a total professional with a real eye for detail and a joy to work with.
