As an interior designer I’ve had the pleasure of working with Pete & Leo a couple times before on previous client projects, so when it came to my own kitchen I knew there was only 1 company I’d be looking to work with and that was Peter Alexander Cabinets. Not only are Pete and Leo two of the nicest people you’ll meet on the planet, their attention to detail and talent for cabinetry making is second to none. To put it simply, if you’re looking for any sort of bespoke cabinetry, whether that be a new kitchen/utility room, bookcases etc look no further than these guys. Pete, Leo – thank you! It’s been a pleasure as always and we couldn’t be happier with our dream kitchen.

Pete and Leo (and Harry) were brillnat from start to finish creating a bespoke kirchen that we are delighted and proud of. Their attention to detail is second to none and they provided us with excellent personal and professional service and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

We live in a Georgian crescent built by Decimus Burton in 1820’s. As a curved terrace the house is two feet wider at the back, consequently internal walls are not parallel, rooms are not square. When most neighbours have a bespoke kitchen the room is made to fit standard off the shelf kitchen units. Not only did we want the kitchen made to fit the room but we wanted it to match the original Georgian features of the room. Pete came and carefully checked, measured and copied original details. Then he came and did it again and again until the design was agreed. One fine day Pete and Leo arrived, worked hard as hard for two days. No mess, no damage, no mistakes and fitted the most perfect made to measure kitchen. Has to be best in class.

I was first introduced to Peter's work by my builder who took me to see one of his kitchens in another of my builders jobs. The clients had nothing but praise for Peter and frankly the quality of the kitchen and installation was stunning! Bespoke craftsmanship at its best. My requirement was for a kitchen to go into a new build marketed at £1.75m ish so it had to be good. I met Peter to discuss options, colour etc and crucially budget. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. I am about to commission my second Peter Alexander kitchen.

Peter Alexander Cabinets have just installed our beautiful kitchen in Sevenoaks. We wanted a modern handleless slab design in white stained oak veneer and the result is above and beyond our expectations. They decided to do the veneer themselves as what was available on the market wasn't up to their high standards. The finish is stunning with the grain running continuously across the cabinets and drawers. From the cutlery trays, to the slightest shadow gap under the worktop in the island, Pete and Leo's attention to detail is impeccable. We were a bit nervous about asking for flush sink and hob in our granite worktops, but the finish is perfect. What's more, the project came in bang on time and budget. Pete and Leo are a highly talented team who are truly passionate about their trade. Our builder even remarked, "This is one of the best kitchen's I've seen in years!" Enough said!

Peter was introduced to us by our builder. We had already seen our "dream kitchen" at Tom Howley but wanted to add some of our own touches to it. After much consideration and viewing Peter's work we decided to take the plunge ... and after many, many emails, visits and discussions the most perfect kitchen has been made by Peter and Leo. Peter is extremely experienced and patient and never complained about the talking through any ideas however small, for example the angulation of the cornicing detail. I am so sure, others would have given up at this stage ... but not Peter. The considerable time and effort that went into the planning stage meant that when the kicthen was installed, there were no "bad" surprises on the day. We can highly recommend Peter and Leo, they listen to your ideas, thrash out any issues beforehand so that your end result is both pleasing aesthetically but functional at the same time. Thank you so much for making us such a beautiful good quality kitchen.

We have had several Peter Alexander bespoke cabinets fitted in our house. The level of service we revived has been to the highest standards, from their communication to the final product. Peter Alexander Cabinets were a local furniture maker with some fabulous examples on social media and I knew they would do a brilliant job of fitting out a new dressing room with fitted wardrobes. Despite our old wonky walls and floor they have produced some really smart and functional storage which looks in keeping with our home. The paint colour was matched to our scheme and the overall effect is beautiful. I would highly recommend.

Pete and Leo did a fantastic job for our kitchen and we are absolutely delighted with the results. During the design and planning phase, Pete was very helpful taking us through several iterations to help us get exactly what we wanted. We were provided with 3D designs that were very true to the finished kitchen. The kitchen itself is very high quality, certainly better than many well-known kitchen makers that are far more expensive. One of the reasons we chose Pete was because of horror stories we'd heard with other kitchen companies where mistakes were made with aftersales taking months to rectify issues. I'm pleased to say we didn't have a single issue, but I'm sure that if there had been it would have been quick to resolve as everything is made locally in their workshop. Everyone who has seen our kitchen has been completely blown away, with many people asking where we got it made! I'd have no hesitation recommending Peter Alexander Cabinets.

Pete and Leo deliver a great design and fit service. This is the second house where we have used them to build our kitchen and utility room cupboards and on each occasion we have been impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They helped us choose door handles and paint colours, offering a range of options and prices; they sourced and held the sink and dishwasher for us until fitting, and could not have been more flexible and pleasant to work with on the project, which was part of a full house renovation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others - and have in fact done so with two friends who have had bespoke cabinetry work done, with which they are also very pleased.

Pete and Leo are a very professional, experienced, hard working and considerate team. They worked so quickly and efficiently on 16 May 2019 to remove my old kitchen worktop, sink and tap, and install new ones, that the works were completed in five hours, rather than taking a full day. They took care that my woodblock kitchen floor and the wall tiles were not damaged, and even cleaned up the tiles, as well as the whole kitchen before they left. I was also impressed by their friendly and helpful attitude whilst they worked. Friends recommended them to me, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Great value for money.

Our house, Plackett's Hole in the Kent North Downs, originally built in 1560, was dreadfully flooded on May 29th 2018. The entire ground floor had over 2 foot of water and masses of mud. All the kitchen white goods, and every kitchen cabinet had to be replaced. The only thing that survived was the AGA but even that had to be taken away to be restored. As the house is listed Grade II care had to be taken that it would be properly restored and the first task was to strip several feet of lime mortar from the interior walls to ensure it dried out with the help of several dehumidifiers before replacing the lime mortar. The kitchen and the utility room that joins it was our top priority. Once it was stripped bare we knew it was going to take several months before new kitchen cabinets could be installed as well as those electrical goods such as a washing machine, refrigerator and dishwasher one now can't live without as well as the refurbished AGA. It therefore meant we could take our time to see how our new kitchen and utility room could be re-designed to fit with what we had in the past but also improved to make it more efficient. I came across the Houzz website while looking on the internet and it suggested we made contact with Peter Alexander Cabinets, a company based in Sutton Valence not too far away. I telephoned to arrange a visit with myself and and husband. The company is situated rather like ourselves in the middle of nowhere off an old farm track but their workshop and office immediately impressed. This was a cabinet maker who not only knew how to use wood but had the machine resources to fulfill the brief. And that is just what happened. Peter Cochrane from the company visited us shortly thereafter and provided not only designs we approved of but suggestions that meant our new kitchen and utility room would be improved, beautifully designed, made entirely of wood - no chipboard - and also installed at a very reasonable price. And the even better news was that the installation process that only took two days meant the most important part of our house was back in full use in time for Christmas.

We are delighted with our floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe in our master bedroom. Pete was very efficient and accommodating in the design process, full of good advice but equally very good at listening to our particular needs. Leo, his colleague had done some superb carpentry work in our house before and so it wasn't a surprise that between then they produced something really special. It cost a bit more than the Sharps equivalent but there is no comparison in terms of the quality. We are very pleased with the result and would really recommend them.

I was recommended to Pete by my builder as he had been so impressed by a kitchen that he made on a previous job. I contacted Pete with some photos of the type of fitted wardrobes I wanted for my newly extended bedroom. He was extremely helpful and professional, offering advice on the best layout to maximise storage space. I was kept fully updated while he was making them with emails and photos. On the day of fitting, my new bedroom flooring was protected with sponge matting and once again the service was completely professional. To say I am pleased with my fitted wardrobes would be an understatement. They are absolutely perfect and completely transformed the bedroom. I am so pleased with them that I am already thinking ahead for a new kitchen, and I would definitely not go anywhere else!

Having not met anyone I felt could interpret my ideas for a hand-painted kitchen for our new house extension, I found Peter through Houzz - he was highly recommended by all his previous clients and they were not wrong in their assessment of him. He is courteous, creative, keeps you promptly informed of the process throughout and above all he is a talented cabinet maker with a keen eye for detail who genuinely wants to do his very best for you. We are thrilled with our new kitchen (not just the stunning cabinets, but also all the finishes and appliances he recommended) and I have to say that dealing with Peter was the only part of our build that was not stressful. I enjoyed every bit of our collaboration and have already asked him to return to do more projects around the house, so pleased are we with his work. Highly recommend.

When we started looking for a new kitchen we found lots of companies offering very ordinary kitchens at some quite fancy prices, none of which really excited us. When we met Peter he immediately understood that we wanted something unique and truly bespoke. In designing our kitchen he was quite happy to incorporate a lot of our ideas about how the kitchen should look Things like using birch ply with the end grain showing, backboards painted to match our Everhot range cooker and translucent orange draw dividers, sounds a bit mad, but looks absolutely stunning. Peter is never going to build you the cheapest kitchen, but the outstanding quality, unique design features and the ease of working with Peter make his work great value.

The results were simply fabulous! As a product designer, attention to detail and quality of finish were really important to me - and Pete exceeded all realistic expectations within our budget. Pete's inherent design sensibility and creative pragmatism meant potential issues were identified very early in the process, proposing solutions that only enhanced the original concept. The kitchen installation was seamless, fault free and on schedule. Would love to collaborate again on future projects.

We asked Pete to make a kitchen for our house refurbishment and he really has done a stunning job. The quality of the cabinetry and detailing is excellent and we are so pleased that we made the right choice in choosing Pete to carry out this work for us. We found him to be a cheerful, intelligent and resourceful chap, who has great ideas and considerable cabinetry skills. We hope to ask him to do more work for us in the near future. We have a very old grade 2 listed cottage that required some bespoke wardrobes in one of the bedrooms, we were given Peters Name by a friend who recommended him having had wardrobes built and fitted by Peter. I am an engineer and have very high expectations with regards to build quality so it’s always a cautious gamble using someone new. A gamble which i’m happy say has been worth it. The entire process from consultation to completion was exceptional and always reasonably priced. The wardrobes were perfect and I still admire them everyday. Peter is one of a dying breed of highly skilled British craftsman and his ability and knowledge at such a young age will see him continue to gain respect and enjoy loyal Clients for years to come. I have known Peter for three years now and he has undertaken many projects around our home including oak window frames, fitted kitchens and bespoke furniture to fit our unique spaces. In addition to his excellent design and joinery skills Peter is respectful, honest and trustworthy. It’s a pleasure to have him around the house. Pete is absolutely brilliant at what he does. He constructs etc in his workshop, and then miraculously installs his beautifully crafted kitchens etc in no time at all. He is professional, honest and a pleasure to have around. He also has excellent taste and is very knowledgeable.

We recently built an extension and from the word go our plan was to always use Pete. He is absolutely brilliant. A real craftsman. The quality of workmanship is A1.
