Radiance Furniture

Radiance made a big wall of fitted wardrobes for us. Not only do they look gorgeous, but they are of exceptional quality. John was a pleasure to work with - always so willing and keen to get it just right. The price was also very reasonable for the quality and John was very good at trying to keep within our budget by offering alternative ideas and options. Have since used Radiance again.

We had a bespoke bench seating area all hand crafted and including a massive chopping board The workmen ship that went into this is second to none in my eyes a master piece John is excellent at what he does and highly recommended

Amazing! So pleased with the skill, effort and customer service shown by Radiance Furniture. I commissioned John & John to make two bespoke iroko benches that I had roughly designed for my garden. When going over my plans John had some great ideas to better the design and I am overwhelmingly pleased with the final out come. The craftsmanship in every small detail and the level of over all finish is of the highest quality! I would highly recommend Radiance furniture. I contacted John on a recommendation from another satisfied customer and he has since completed multiple jobs for us. From building cupboards, fitting hugely useful slatted shelves in our boiler room, creating a children’s bed to fit in an unusual space, to building a beautiful unicorn stable for my daughter’s Christmas present, John undertook each project with the utmost professionalism, skill and craftsmanship. He was reliable, punctual and always ensured he left the workspace tidy when he had finished. I will definitely be contacting him again.

We first met John Beresford around 2014. He sat down with us and took great pains to understand exactly what we were looking for. The result was a beautiful burr walnut and oak wardrobe. His styling and attention to detail were first rate. That started a collaboration which has see John create; two wardrobes, two wall mounted cupboards, an entire study including desk with storage and most recently a spectacular functional tree sculpture. The tree is a marvel. As with everything the design process was thorough and considered. John took great pains to source the exact materials and consulted us as and when changes needed to be made. The result is an utterly beautiful piece to live with which is admired by all who visit.

We commissioned John to make a bespoke vanity unit for our cloakroom to fit a bowl sink. The top is made out of iroko wood and the finished result looks fantastic. We liked it so much that we then asked him to create a circular deck, also from iroko wood, to fit an existing circular retaining wall. We knew that John really specialises in furniture making so if anyone could make a round shaped deck look special John could. The finished result is highly professional with fine attention to detail such as hidden screws and a clever facade on the front step. We thoroughly recommend John and Radiance Furniture.

Radiance are an excellent choice if you want joinery of the very highest quality. I have worked with them on some interesting projects, one of which I see they have featured on Houzz. I was impressed by the service given, attention to detail and see they will go that extra mile to meet and exceed your expectations. John listened well to our ideas and carefully adapted them into a design that would fit within our budget. Having seen a drawer stack at the Cheltenham contemporary furniture exhibition I commissioned Radiance to make me an office desk in a similar style. The work progressed very well from initial consultation through to delivery of the finished desk. I added a built-in humidor to the design which was also exceptional.
