We engaged SJ to design and instal bookcases and hifi shelves in our new penthouse flat in Bournemouth. We approached various firms via their websites before we moved in. SJ were the only people who replied. Two projects: a large bookcase/hifi area for our main room; and a smaller bedroom bookcase. The key issue for us was getting the right design and 'tone' for both projects, plus using the significant available space to best effect. We wanted something both bold and asymmetrical but also practical. We spent quite a few weeks looking at and refining the designs. We were especially impressed by the painstaking attention to detail (lots of fancy computer angles and laser beams for getting just the right measurements and angles), but also SJ's willingness to suggest ambitious design ideas and to challenge our own. It helped that SJ knew plenty about hifi systems and their wiring and logic. A Plan was finally agreed. A few weeks later it was all installed over some three days - quite an effort given our top-floor location. We are more than delighted with the results. A spectacular main bookcase with all the wiring hidden and just the right space for LPs/CDs and the hifi kit itself. The large 'sun' piece at the top built too by SJ works well with the seaview location(!). Note the confident design contrast in the line of the paler wooden struts on the lower unit and the round top-piece. Plus the bedroom bookcase is more than fine too - both similar and different. Hugely recommended, the more so if you don't want 'the usual'.

Wanted some cupboards/shelving custom built in sitting room and shaker style panelling in hallway. Mindaugascould not have been more helpful, both in making design suggestions and showing us on the computer what the final job would look like.It took some time to complete the work because of lockdowns but also because I took some time making up my mind about various things. Mindaugas was very patient and clearly wanted it to be perfect for us. There was a slight hiccup over the panelling, but again we had a conversation and arrived at a result that we were all very happy with. We would not hesitate to recommend this company ,or use them again. We love the work they have done for us and Mindaugas is a bit of a star!

We started off having built in wardrobes tailor made, not easy on an old crooked coach house, but the result was excellent. Followed by a huge 9ft tall cupboard and then wall to wall bookcase in our study. I cannot more highly recommend the quality of build, planning, advice and friendly service. A truly excellent find who will give you a stunning piece of built in furniture. Outstanding.
