Very professional approach in managing the overall project of our flat refurbishment. This included moving walls, installing an automatic fire door to comply with building regulations (which was complex as we wanted it built into the wall). Also provided many helpful ideas, especially when it came to our bathrooms which John designed. Choosing the materials, colour scheme and layout. Also introduced us to other trades people who were helpful, reliable and worked a high standard.

We have used John Farley's service for almost two decades. The standard of his work is high. John is a perfectionist who has always done everything necessary to ensure that all is well and that we are happy with thee completed work. He has offered us his advice on choosing suitable colours and his input on designs has been very helpful, saving us from making costly mistakes. We have found John approachable and good humoured and he has dealt with our queries quickly and efficiently . His charges are reasonable, given the high quality of his work and its durability: some wardrobes he installed in our house 18 years ago look as good as new!

My wife and I have lived for many years in a Grade 2 listed early Georgian house in Greenwich, London. The age of the property and the unusual shape of rooms means that there are few straightforward angles and this poses challenges for anyone commissioned to carry out interior work. Our first experience of The Interior Arts was in 2010 when we had a new kitchen fitted. The shape of the room is highly irregular and successful completion of the job required precisely accurate measurement in the preparatory stages and equal attention to detail in the manufacture and fitting of the kitchen units. This was all achieved and The Interior Arts's design suggestions succeeded in taking advantage of the room's irregular features to create a coherent whole. Our satisfaction with the kitchen led to us asking the business to manufacture and fit a wall-sized bookcase in another room and, later, The Interior Arts completed the renovation of a basement area to create a new shower room. This required digging down to provide additional headroom and install services. The Interior Arts handled the applications for planning permission and listed building consent and the job was inspected while in progress and signed-off when completed by Royal Borough of Greenwich building control officers. It again required great attention to detail and respect for the fabric of the old property and we are pleased with the result. We were told the business's policy was to work on only a strictly limited number of projects at any time to enable sufficient attention to be devoted each client. That has certainly seemed to be the case in our experiences with The Interior Arts and it meant, for example, that we could be accompanied on visits to showrooms and suppliers when we were choosing fittings for the new shower room. Everyone who carried out work on behalf of The Interior Arts on both our kitchen and shower room showed an excellent standard of workmanship, personal interest in the project and reliability in terms of turning up when expected. The proprietor was always available when telephoned and prepared to visit the property as often as necessary.

Mr John Farley undertook a major project for us at our house in Greenwich. This included rebuilding a kitchen, a master bathroom, a shower room, a sitting room and a hallway and staircase. The work was conducted to a very high standard. John and his colleagues acted responsibly, were very reliable, totally committed to the work, provided excellent value for money and were very engaging in relation to discussing issues. John displays very good attention to detail, the finishes were excellent, and the work was completed on a regular basis. John is very engaging to work with and I have no hesitation in recommending him to you.
