We are very happy with the work Thibaut has done for us with our custom hallway storage unit. We were lacking storage, a nice desk to work from home and had a lot of space in our front hall that wasn't being utilised for our needs. From the initial consultation to the final installation, Thibaut demonstrated professionalism, promptness, and a commitment to our satisfaction. Throughout the design process, Thibaut was not only receptive to our ideas and feedback but also provided invaluable input to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the unit. It was a very collaborative process. His keen eye for detail ensured that the final product seamlessly integrates into our space, appearing as though it has always belonged. It has been my good fortune to have had Thibaut's assistance over the past two years in the total refurbishment of a tired old rental flat I purchased in a large 1930s block. Everything has been completed to the highest possible standard, from, inter alia, a mirror-fronted wardrobe wall and two full height x full width wall units (one incorporating a drop-leaf dining table beneath a large inset oil painting) to a headboard (with matching picture frames to either side!) and a pair of bespoke nested sofa tables. Like most properties of its type, the flat was broken up by a large number of beams and pillars. Thibaut has skillfully managed to camouflage most of them, and those that remain visible serve as frames for the decorative features which I wished to emphasise. He also has created an apparently symmetrical window seat in an asymmetrical bay, and brought elegance to a dingy little entrance hall by converting the upper half of a shallow airing cupboard into a downlit display cabinet and providing decorative panels for the remaining door facings in the hall. Throughout, Thibaut has shown tremendous commitment to the project and despite various problems due to Covid lockdowns, material shortages, etc never lost sight of the "big picture" as I explained it at the outset of our relationship. His collaboration with my electrician, door fitter and picture framer has been seamless, and all described him as a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend Timber Tailors more highly.

The whole package. First and foremost, the work is impeccable – perfectly executed and finished to a T. we have done three different projects with Thibaut and could not be happier with the results. The design phase is collaborative and expertly led. There is enough flexibility in the process to handle any variations or hiccups along the way. This is essential for bespoke work and Thibaut truly delivers bespoke creations. Besides the highest level of craftsmanship and care, the business side of things is gracious, thorough and clear. The communications component is gentle, enthusiastic and timely. A pleasure all the way around.

Dressing table and matching stool: Timber Tailors were fantastic from start to finish. The design input was creative without straying from the brief and resulted in the addition of some fantastic features like the brass inlay and feet. Communication throughout the process was clear and thorough and the standard of the work is superb. Would highly recommend. Bespoke console table: This was our second project with Timber Tailors and again everything was superb from start to finish. Thibaut is an excellent craftsman and a delight to work with.

Thibaut is an excellent craftsman and great to work with. He designed and crafted a bespoke bedside table with integrated wireless charging, and it looks fantastic. Extremely professional, Thibaut listened to what I wanted and crafted an amazing solution. Highly recommend!

I have a small listed house in Westminster and the floors and ceilings are not straight. After years of making do with ready made furniture that didn't quite fit and looked messy, I decided to get a bookcase built that would look good and save me space through being fitted to my idiosyncratic house.. I wanted wood to match my existing paneling; a piece to fit the scale of the room; glass fronted top section to display my books on a solid cabinet below. Two cupboards would be dedicated to shoe storage; the other three available for any type of storage. Thibaut was a joy to work with - he was interested in matching my ideas to reality and thoroughly planned and scoped the work. I was given detailed drawings, consulted on all aspects and - even when an easier alternative was available - Thibaut never accepted less than a perfect choice. I was very impressed with his professionalism and workmanship. Discussions on the colour of the door hinges; the replacement of stainless steel shelf pins with brass ones - no detail was too small. Thibaut designs and builds offsite and then installs over a day or so. Our bookcase took shape beautifully but we found the mechanism for closing the doors too weak. Undeterred Thibaut returned and fitted a different mechanism that works wonderfully. If you want a really professional job done by a real craftsman this company is the place to go. The work was not cheap but we got what we paid for - a truly beautiful cherry wood piece that will give us pleasure for years to come. Highly recommend Thibaut and the company and we will be engaging his services again soon.

Timber Tailors produced a beautifully crafted bespoke display cabinet for our Sovereigns Medal. The design was inspired by the Order of St. John Cross who presented the Defence Medical Welfare Service charity with the medal.

I am more than delighted with the bespoke wardrobes designed, made and installed for me by Thibaut. He is an artisan with unparalleled skills, a craftsman of the highest quality and a perfectionist! As a woman on my own I have to be extremely cautious on those coming into my home. I was totally comfortable and at ease with Thibaut and his colleague (also a Thibaut). He is not only reliable, honest and trustworthy, he is polite, well mannered and extremely respectful. Sounds too good to be true? Yes it does, but it is true. Thibaut is a rare species in todays world. More than highly recommended.

Timber Tailors have just completed the work on a beautiful double door, floor to ceiling kitchen cupboard for us. We are so pleased with the final product. Timber Tailors have done a magnificent job for us, optimising every square centimeter available in a very awkward and curved space in our flat in the Barbican. They helped us choose the best material for this project and were also very fair on price compared with other suppliers. They were very professional, thorough on the details and finitions and always left the place immaculate in the evening. We are delighted by the results.
