We have placed several projects with Wittinghams over the years, ranging from touching up paintwork to renovations. Whittinghams is a professionally managed business of skilled tradesmen supplying a quality product.

Create, design and build a new bespoke kitchen. Right from the start we were kept informed as to timescales and were invited to the workshops to see the units being built and to check for measurements and heights. They worked well with other services such as plumbers and electricians and were always prompt and tidy. Communication was good and any issues were sorted without any fuss. The standard of craftmanship was excellent, and I would recommend this company to anybody.

Whittinghams restored a Hepplewhite chair which was a much treasured heirloom belonging to Grandpa Henley. It had terrible woodworm and was falling apart and now it sits proudly and solidly in its original place. Thanks goes to Matt and his team for having the expertise and patience to deconstruct then reconstruct something so irreplaceable.

Finding out about Whittinghams was a big plus when I moved house last year. I had been trying to find a dining table and, latterly, a dresser to match my new modern home and this was proving to be extremely difficult. Talking to Matt we were able to pool ideas and came up with a fantastic solution for a table followed closely by the dresser. Whittinghams have first class tradesmen and the quality of their work and innovative approach means I would definitely use them again if needed.

Whittinghams designed manufactured and installed additional units for our kitchen extension to match existing units. Constructive input on design, great attention to detail, high quality manufacture and a meticulous installation team. They worked well around other trades (plumbers, electrician, tilers, builders) and delivered on time and on budget. They are a delight to work with with, have good communication skills and provide great client service.

Whittinghams were able to manufacture and install first class radiator covers to match existing light oak furniture. In addition they produced an innovative design and then co-ordinated the making of mountings for the external display of 2 statues.

Whittinghams have completed two projects for me recently, fitted hardwood bookshelves in a study and fitted furniture in a dressing room. I am very pleased with both the quality of the furniture and the care exercised in the fitting of the units into existing room architecture.
