“I utilised Caroline’s two hour consultation service (£95) as I desperately needed some advice and ideas for my neglected 1930s hallway. As I don’t live locally, I gave Caroline some ideas and photos via text message about what I liked and didn’t like, my preferred colour palate, and what my priorities were. After some questions from Caroline and some very useful exercises looking at existing spaces and colours, and how we used the hall, she offered some simple solutions which were easily implemented. Simple things like changing the positioning of the existing lighting made a dramatic difference. Caroline then compiled a mood board for me on Pinterest with ideas for paint colours, storage solutions and suggestions for light fittings. She also made recommendations on how I could achieve a modern and coordinated hall that tied in with the existing 1930s features, yet wasn’t overly ‘matchy’. This was complemented with detailed information about sourcing items and recommending paint finishes. Caroline very cleverly sketched her ideas onto my original photo to give me an idea of what my hall could look like. This was really invaluable in helping me ‘see’ my new hall before I started work. I felt that Caroline very quickly ‘got’ what I was after. She was really friendly & approachable, responsive and offered really helpful, practical and straightforward suggestions. She didn’t impose her own tastes and encouraged me to develop my own. Initially I felt that I didn’t really know what I wanted but after conversations with Caroline, I began to gain confidence. I cannot recommend Caroline’s service highly enough. She was great fun to work with and the entire process was really enjoyable.”

“Last year I had some time in-between 2 jobs and decided to build something that I always dreamed of - a garden studio. This was quite a challenge but I really enjoyed it. “We were a little wary about signing up an interior designer for our extension project because most of the other professionals we used seemed to over-charge and tended to cease involvement as soon as they were paid. But Randa was different and undoubtedly the best value of any of the the professionals we used. To begin with she solved a problem with the interior walls that immediately saved us hundreds of pounds and overall she took the extra time and effort to see the project and her ideas through to completion. She was generous with her time, included a design for our kitchen even though that was not part of her remit and answered our questions promptly when we needed her advice. She also kept an eye open to make sure the builders weren't taking short-cuts and generally seemed to care. Some of her choices were good money-savers, sometimes her suggestions were too expensive for us but she was happy to recommend something different if it was not within budget.”
