We asked Alex to build us some fitted shelves and alcove storage for our living room and we're so pleased with the result - they look fantastic. From his first visit, he kept in regular contact with advice/suggestions and to let us know how the build was progressing. We also incidentally talked about our flooring plans with him and he ended up offering suggestions and installing that for us, too (this also looks super). Alex is clearly very knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in his work, thinking about small details and finishes, as well as working really tidily. We have recently commissioned Alex to build a bespoke media wall with cupboards and shelving and another commission of a wood panelled frame and doors enclosure for the understairs area in our new barn conversion. Firstly, we must say that Alex is a pleasure to work with, he listens carefully to what is required and uses his creativity to come up with the perfect design to match the brief. His attention to the smallest detail is spot on. Alex and Rob built us a bar-bookcase (photo attached, although taken before the final touch up paint had been applied to some caulk and the mirror cleaned up) and it turned out exactly as I'd hoped. Even so, it still gave me that slack-jaw moment when I saw the finished article. It wasn't the easiest of jobs either, since the bar was built into an alcove and extended into a bookcase across the chimney breast, linked beautifully with an oak counter top. It also had to encompass a wine cooler that needs to be removable and due to the close proximity of an inconveniently placed radiator, Alex made the left-hand column easily detachable. He's a perfectionist and it pays off, having fully understood the requirements and delivered a top quality product.

Alex has fitted a beautiful home office area area into alcoves in our flat. In terms of workmanship, the quality of what we have is amazing, we have curves in the solid oak desks, an under desk drawer with pencil tray, curved cupboards and an elegant mix of white/oak veneer. It has transformed our room and provided us with much needed and stylish storage and desk space. Our space was always left tidy during the fitting period and Alex worked with minimal disruption to us. In terms of communication, from start to finish, he has communicated with us and kept us up to date with how the project is developing in the workshop and we were provided a timeline from the beginning. He was very professional, always getting back to us, fitting when he planned to do so and visiting our space to help us plan the office space in the early stages. The quote we were provided had a clear breakdown of costs and we paid what we were quoted. We would highly recommend Alex for any bespoke work you need, his attention to detail and patience in the design stages and final quality of work is all fabulous :)

Alex installed a birch ply shelving for books and display across the whole wall of my dining room. He prepared with great care which allowed me to incorporate my specific needs in the design. His workmanship is superb and he took great care in ensuring a stunning installation. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Alex and his assistant Finlay sanded and re-oiled our lounge floor. The job was done professionally and we were very pleased with the end result. Minimum dust transmission into the rest of the house. The guys arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job in a day and a half, with a Saturday afternoon visit to check the finished product and help replace bulky furniture.

Alex fitted a large oak front door for us recently to a very high standard. Hard to find people these days that capable of doing a good job. Kept us informed of times and completed the job quickly and on time. I will definitely use Alex again should I need him . Highly recommended. Thanks

We would definitely recommend Alex. He talked over various options for our living room shelving, which helped with our decisions. His work quality was excellent and he works hard and efficiently. If for any reason he was delayed, he always let us know in advance and kept us informed. He kept to his original budget, with the addition of a small charge for electrics, which we had agreed to during the course of the job. We are delighted with our new shelves!

Alex's work is exemplary and shows rare attention to detail. He designed, made and fitted a bookshelf in the sitting room which is really beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The finishing is superb. He and his team are also installing an engineered wooden floor in two stages throughout the ground floor. At every stage Alex has been efficient and helpful and kept me fully informed about offsite and onsite progress. I could not have been happier with Alex's work at every stage of the project and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. We have only recently moved to Kent and Alex has been a fantastic find for us.

Alex is a very personable young man whose carpentry skills appear first class. He undertook a small but urgent carpentry job for us, happily fitting it in at short notice. He and his mate worked efficiently and with minimum disruption. We are pleased with the job done and as a result are liaising with Alex in regard to some further carpentry jobs at our home.
