“Sam was energetic and enthusiastic to create a usable decking space in an area of our garden we tended to avoid (largely because our septic tank is deep down underground!) As we wanted to incorporate two large stone slabs for an Indian fire pit, there was some heavy graft to start with. Sam worked consistently and, whilst taking his initiative on the framework of the decked area, he communicated with us to smooth out any snags/changes which appeared, quickly and satisfactorily. One of the original plans was to make a removable section for when the septic tank needs emptying. Concerned that this would cause a certain level of instability and wobble, Sam has instead photographed the project taking particular note of where the secure boards can be lifted. The end result is stunning and far from being just the decorative garden feature anticipated, we have a fantastic decking area we enjoy spending time on, whatever the weather!”

“Martyn is a real gem find, his work is of the highest standard as well as his attitude and dedication. Martyn is a perfectionist and his attention to detail and superb craftsmanship is the reason I will keep using his services. Martyn is very knowledgeable in all aspects of building work, no job too big or small and also reasonably priced. Martyn is a joy to have around, very pleasant and personable and always willing to help. I would highly recommend Martyn as "the only" builder you would ever need!. Just be prepared with the kettle!.”

“I commissioned M21 Cabinetmaking to do a number of projects including building alcove shelves and low cupboards in the living room. JP is a joy to work with; an absolute perfectionist who’s also efficient and gets the work done on time (often the two don’t go hand in hand!). A cabinet maker rather than joiner he’s happy to talk through the tiniest of details to get things right and, due to a background managing luxury interiors projects was able to help visualise the end result, give valued design advice, and collaborate well with other trades to bring the project together. I can’t recommend M21Cabinetmaking highly enough.”

“We engaged Stephen to remove our fireplace and replace our laminate floor in the lounge. He came to our house to estimate for the job quite promptly and kept to his start date.
