“My 27 year old master bath badly needed renovation. Two dividing walls needed to taken down and a Jacuzzi removed. Aloha Properties has done an outstanding job tiling my new shower, adding tile to the floor where the walls were removed and installing my new cabinets, which included re-plumbing for two sinks instead of one. Another room is being remodeled into a large walk-in closet. Travis put down wide-plank pine flooring, sanded and stained it in one day! I would strongly recommend this company!”

“I renovated my condo last year, and was unable to find a general contractor who had time to handle it for me (relatively speaking, it wasn't that big a job), so ended up subbing it out myself. Milton was recommended to me for cabinet woodwork and painting, and I contracted with him for the following items: Upgrade existing kitchen and bath cabinets, rework the cabinets above the microhood, build in a shelf at the top of the kitchen cabinets, remodel the kitchen island, demo existing bathroom cabinet and replace it, and install the new kitchen appliances. His contract price for the work was $4,800, and his workmanship was very good. But what made it so good to work with him is that he was willing to schedule in and around as I was able to schedule with the electrician, plumber and countertop installation. I had already contracted with a painter, but when I had to do some sheetrock work after the fact, Milton did the sheetrock repair and painted it. Something else that I appreciated was how clean he left things every day when he left. Additionally, all of the work would have moved much more quickly if a GC could have scheduled some of his crew guys in and out back-to-back as needed. But, because everyone was very busy, I had to schedule them as I could get them in and around their other jobs, and it really stretched things out. I really appreciated Milton's patience in scheduling around the others for each step of his work. In our discussions, I know he was anticipating 3 or 4 trips to do the full job, but it ended up taking double that before it was all said and done, which I know cost him in unexpected time and labor, and although I offered to re-discuss the contract price, he stuck with the original quote for everything. Also, and outside of the initial contract, I wanted my bedroom furniture painted and asked him if he would do it. He took everything to his shop, where he could strip/sand off the finish, prime and spray paint it and he did a wonderful job, of that, too. All total, taking the furniture, painting it, and returning and setting it up was $2,000, and I love it! Lastly, I live in a 3rd floor walk-up in a center city neighborhood with tight parking. Everything had to be hauled up and down three flights of stairs, and NOT from a parking area right in front of the building. What I'm saying is that I appreciated the unfailingly cheerful attitude as much as I did the workmanship, and I would definitely use Milton again.”

“All we wanted to do was paint the exterior of our house. But our painting contractor uncovered some hail damage, which had caused significant water-related structural damage, which is why we hired a well-respected residential construction company in Omaha. Mike Whitham was the foreman who was given the responsibility of rebuilding our house. But Mike wasn't just any foreman. Mike was a hands-on hammer-swinging master carpenter who knew how to get the job done right. Mike, along with the crew he led, worked in our home five days a week for 5½ months! During that time Mike and his crew removed the stucco siding from our house, repaired the water-related structural damage, replaced the windows and doors, removed the old roof, and installed a new hail resistant roof, added new gutters, and finished it off with sandstone and cedar shingles! We invested over $500,000 in the finished project, and saw our house completely transformed into something gorgeous! Perhaps the best part for us was that during the 5½ months, Mike became more than a foreman; Mike became a friend. We trusted Mike so much we left him the keys to our house and went on a two-week vacation. Sadly, due to an amazing opportunity, Mike and his family relocated to Charlotte. We say sadly, because he started the project as a construction foreman and ended as a family friend. Our loss is Charlotte's gain. Therefore, if you're looking to hire a contractor who will show up on time every day until the job is finished, keep his word, and AMAZE you with the quality of his work, then hire Mike Whitham. —Michael & Lynn Clouse Bennington, Nebraska”

“Paul Distante one of the owners that I dealt with was great. He came out within a day and looked at our project. It was adding french doors to our dining room that we were making into a reading/office space. He recommended what would look nice there. As true to his word, we had our estimate after the weekend. He picked up all the materials so we did not have to worry about that. He has now completed the work. He is very friendly, professional and answers test messages very promptly. I would definitely hire him again and have many more projects to do in our house.”
