“Derrick Kniss has just completed his fourth custom cabinetry project with us. Our home is a 1912 heritage home in Calgary. The projects were: a set of custom cupboards for storage, a set of library shelves with a custom hidden door, a booth-style table with built-in benches and drawers in a tower room, and most recently a custom arts & crafts style fireplace mantle. All of these projects were challenging to design and construct given the age of the home and their uniqueness. Derrick was completely patient, allowing us to work interactively with him on design and during installation, even when we changed our minds about small details. His materials, workmanship and attention to detail were superb. His prices were very fair and he honored original estimates despite all the extras. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for custom cabinetry. He has a great eye for design and an excellent work ethic.”

“Fish Creek completed the finishing work on our high-end new home which was mostly completed about 1.5 years ago. This included extensive custom woodwork, paneling, built-in cabinets, and interior doors, closets and trim. The work was completed with quality. Our house looks great. After we took possession of the home, and despite the home builder not honoring their obligation to ensure final finishing work and warranty repairs we completed, Rob (Fish Creek) returned and ensured various projects were completed to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Fish Creek for finishing work.”

“Gord did a fantastic job of updating our old circa 1970's railing. We wanted to update the look but retain the wrought iron. Gord was able to remove the original green plastic cap, re-spray the wrought iron and then replace it with a maple cap and wall brackets going down the stairs to the basement. The end result is fabulous. Thanks Gord!”

“Corey was recommended by a close friend. He completely renovated our laundry room and two bathrooms almost 2 years ago now. This included the demolition as well. We provided the extras like lights, sinks, taps, tiles, etc and he did the work. He has a good team of 'guys' that he works with for plumbing, electrical and is able to co-ordinate them. He is respectful, reasonable and knows what he is doing. He is able to problem solve and get the job done. He was finished on time and did everything he said he would and then some. We can't say enough great things about his work!”
