THE WORST COMPANY WE’VE EVER DEALT WITH. 6 months after banking a £8k deposit, in which the owner kept lying and stringing us along, CTW fulfilled less than half the job (badly installed windows we had to get someone else to fix properly) and finally told us to just go with someone else as they couldn’t be bothered with the fact that we were understandably frustrated and at a large financial loss because of this company. Since this was like the 3rd time we had been asked to do so, we finally decided to let go despite risking our deposit, because we couldn’t continue facing the stress and distress of being lied to and bullied by CTW. Believe me when I say, you’ll regret doing business with Alen (it’s just him, he seems to have lost all the staff that was mentioned in previous positive reviews). Never have we been treated as badly by a manufacturer or a trader, and we’ve dealt with 10s of them having done 3 full renovations in the last 4 years.

Custom Timber Windows offered great service, excellent quality product. which was well-fitted. Alen and his team are extremely customer focussed and knowledgeable.

Alen and his team, especially Charles, provided me with a great service both on time and on budget when I had most of my windows replaced two years ago and the final one last year. Their after care service was also excellent.

Alen, the owner of CTW, came to see the house in November 2017 and from the off, his levels of professionalism far exceeded any of the other numerous "Window Salesmen" we had unfortunately had to meet up to that point. With a relatively quick tour around the house, Alen was able to immediately assess our requirements, make suggestions in order to best achieve them and arrive at a VERY reasonable price (I’m talking a third of the nearest quote!) WITHIN SECONDS; none of the "hours of droning, scripted, sales patter and ridiculously high initial quotation in order to then offer "discounts"” that seemed to be the standard modus operandi for all the other window companies we had met. However.... A good product should be able to sell itself without the need to employ such an obviously well-experienced, highly-skilled, affable, personable, seasoned sales pro. He's just GOT to be hiding something; where's the catch? The REAL test would be the end product itself. If anything, the quality of the windows and their installation was even BETTER than the preceding sales-patter. Charlie, Alen’s 2nd in command and his installation crew - their professionalism, attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that everything we required was attained to the highest possible standard - were just remarkable. Needless to say we are EXTREMELY pleased with the end result and cannot recommend CTW, Alen, Charlie and all the boys highly enough. We will definitely be using them again for all future projects (including the loft and kitchen extensions to follow) . As a side note, neighbours have been knocking our door to compliment us on the windows and at least two referrals (at the time of writing) have already been in contact with CTW re: new orders... We contacted Allen, for a quotation to supply only a new timber window with Astragal Georgian bars for our client. The job was manufactured by CTW. We collected our order, installed the window. Our customer was very pleased with the overall appearance of the window. I would recommend them as a supplier.

We have now had two sets of windows installed in our 1905 built house in Oxfordshire. The original windows were PVC, in a poor condition and looked unsightly. The first phase of replacement work involved replacing eight windows, mostly on the front of the house. One of which was a bay window and was in the process of falling out of the front wall. We searched for a long time to find a wooden window supplier who could meet our requirements, usually obtaining quotes that were completely unaffordable. We met the proprietor of CTW at a renovation show, where we were immediately struck by the quality of the products on offer, and with the flexible and friendly attitude of Alen. We were delighted to receive a formal quote which was affordable and soon after, CTW’s surveyor, Charles, arrived to measure up the requirements for the new windows. About 6 weeks later, we visited the depot in Hersham, where we were able to inspect our new windows, freshly shipped from the factory in Croatia. These were of an excellent standard, superbly machined and finished in quality paint. They were able to completely rebuild the bay window from an eye-sore to a stunning window. In fact, the stunning transformation of the appearance of the house, has pleased not only us, but has received many favourably comments from other residents in the hamlet. In 2017, we had an extension added to the rear of the property which included multiple sets of French doors. We again contacted CTW, received a favourable quote and a visit from Charles, who strongly recommended us to avoid Juliet balconies - thankfully we did, as building regulations would have resulted in a prison bar effect. The result has been the creation of new rooms with plenty of external light made available, and a brilliant finish to the appearance of the house. We have become experienced at working with various suppliers and builders this last few years, and not all the experiences have been good. However, working with CTW has been a delight. We received good advice, quality products and trustworthy, all at a cost we could afford. This is a company I would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately it is not common to find company that take care about client desires, especially in building trade. The CTW is this type of company! Is not just that the end product was perfect and delivered on time, it is also excellent costumer service during the whole project. Highest recommendation!

We’ve had such a great experience with CTW from our initial chat at the Ideal Home Show at Olympia to the finished installation of our beautiful bespoke timber windows! The team was professional, polite, punctual and everything was clean and complete by my very optimistic deadline. Alen communicated with us throughout the process so we were never left wondering about timing and he made some excellent suggestions as to design and function which we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves.
