i would just like to thank richard for the first class work he did for me on the kitchen cupboard i was desperate for it do get done and he came along and worked on it i would recomend him to anybody who needs any work done a first class job done

Richard built three bookshelves to our exact specifications to fit a specific space. We wanted to use reclaimed wood, which he sourced and prepared to an excellent finish. He was friendly and easy to liaise with and kept us informed of progress. Once the bookcases were constructed offsite he came and fitted them very quickly. We are really happy with the finished product and would recommend Richard to anyone wanting a good quality bespoke piece of furniture.

Working with Richard from Dalmeny Joinery to replace my old kitchen and hot water boiler was a joy. The work was started and finished as agreed and the final quality of the work was excellent. Richard effectively coordinated other trades and links to the kitchen designer in completing the work and he was flexible enough to accept a few alterations and additional works during the build. Richard also kept the flat tidy during the work and we were very happy with the outcome. Richard Leather is a first rate carpenter, designer and planner, and certainly the most thoughtful. Any job has opportunities, limits to what may be done, the right methods to be used, the best materials, and challenges. There are always implications in a course of action. Richard has the ability to find the best solution to reach a desired outcome and to avoid difficulties. His planning is meticulous and transparent; he is a very good listener, and will deliver the outcome you want and probably do it better than you could believe possible. If you want quality, this is what you will get. If you want cheap and cheerful, go elsewhere. Like all the best people, he is busy. Be prepared to wait a bit for a space in his diary.
