Matthew Smith is a Joiner by trade and has continually harnessed a deep connection with wood as a material. His creativity lead him to focus on bespoke furniture design and making. In doing this he can work closely with his Clients to build the space in which his artistic expression can flow through him and into his work. What makes Matthew unique is his integrity and his ability to allow the will of the wood to come through. Once the design has become clear, his acute attention to detail, along with the time spent and the love put in is seen in the finished piece.
