We contracted Alex to build two fitted bedroom wardrobes for us in our new home. Alex was very tidy and quiet when working, and kept us up to date with the progress and any changes needed. We're very pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend him!

First time we have worked with Alex. He was great from the design to the build phase. He had a clear vision from the start. We will be working with him again in the future.

Alex put in a new staircase railing for us (banister, spindles, posts). It was in an awkward spot in our flat, and he took the time to survey the space and build something that would match the style of the space while also being sturdy. He worked quickly and neatly. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Alex built and fitted a set of bespoke wardrobes from our design. Great service and really happy with end product. He worked with the other trades (painter) meaning the process was simple for us as well.

Alex and his wife are lovely people. They did a great job of my understairs cabinet. Alex also done some work for my back garden door. The cabinet are so well made based on the size of space and the style of my other cabinets in the room. His wife helped on the decoration and final finishing. She is so kind and willing to give tips and advice on the decoration of the other parts of my house. I am really happy with the work they have done. Highly recommended!

Amazing and meticulous job! I had built a custome sized library and work station with a retractable desk, it is perfect - both functional and very elegant. Alex was very efficient and super friendly, definitely recommend☺️

Really pleased with the works done. Built a fitted cupboard and shelves unit in my lounge alcove, fitted internal doors and replaced skirting board. Alex ensured that I was consulted on each piece of work and the unit in particular is excellent. Has added much needed storage and created a beautiful focal point for the lounge. Highly recommend.

Neonila and Alex redecorated the whole of our house internally. They advised on paint samples and discussed options and costs for different brands. They sourced all the paint and completed all the paintwork in good time and to an excellent standard. The figure we paid for the work was exactly as discussed at the time of quotation. And Neonila and Alex are both really lovely people to have in the house, very friendly and good company as well as extremely hard working. Will definitely go to them again.

Alex did a great job with our alcove cabinets and fitted cupboards - everything done to a great standard and great designs. He also helped us with other jobs such as fixing new locks for our front door and fixing the wobbly staircase. He was very easy to work with and very helpful and good communication throughout the process. We will definitely be reaching out to Alex again for our next project.

Alex did a fantastic job building me some entry storage including a cupboard and shoe rack. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed and helped tweak the design with my budget in mind – as well as the constraints of the tight space. He was communicative and committed to getting the job done to a high standard. Now that it's done, the storage is sturdy and looks great. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time I have used Alex. He was extremely helpful from helping us with multiple iterations when designing our alcove cupboards, and demonstrated a meticulous level of craftsmanship when constructing. He even managed to incorporate a hideaway desk and the end result is stunning! Thanks again

We had made to measure alcoves, and a large made to measure bookcase / storage in another room. The specification was discussed beforehand and measurements were finalised in person very quickly. What we liked about Live Joinery was how quickly they worked with our requirements and specification, with a clear interest and with zero pressure. Genuine lovely people who will look to accommodate all your needs. The work and finish was really good - true craftsmanship. Would very happily recommend Live Joinery for any made to measure storage/cabinetry/shelving/wardrobes.

Having just finished a loft conversion we were not impressed with the suggested tradesmen to build our build-in loft wardrobes. We were just giving up hope of finding a good professional and reasonable priced joiner when my wife came across Live Joinery. They are a wonderful husband and wife team. An absolute delight to work with. We even had the wonderful dulcet tones of the wife singing whilst she worked merrily away. From the minute we met them we felt confident that their suggested ideas and professionalism would provide us with the finished build that we imagined. We are so please with the finish work and can’t stop telling and showing everyone our new built-in wardrobes. Looking forward to working with them again.

We are so so happy with three three bits of work Alex did for us: under the stair cupboards, a floating shelf in the kitchen and bookshelves and a cupboard in an unused alcove. Our space and some parts of the project were awkward but Alex designed and built the features to an incredibly high standard. We love our new features and they have transformed our living space. Thank you!!

Alex is great. For us he put up three floating shelves in pantry, and made and painted a bespoke bookcase for study. He is professional, tidy, and punctual. He is also very creative and helped us with ideas as well as being a problem solver. I would thoroughly recommend him and, indeed, have to friends since.

Alex and team has done a commendable job in executing a property refurbishment project. It was a big project and required full refurbishment of my flat. The team not only did the project as agreed but also provided innovative solutions to do flooring, kitchen, cupboards, bath room, boiler installation, insulation, plumbing etc that saved a lot of time & cost. The team is trustworthy, reliable, efficient and great to work with. Well done team. Highly recommendable!
