About Us

McLellan Carpentry is a Dorset based company that specialises in bespoke carpentry and handcrafted oak framed buildings inspired by traditional and contemporary design. Our portfolio includes smaller projects such as oak framed porches and garden buildings right through to extensions, barn conversions, and new builds. The timber frames can be made in our workshop then transported to their destination to be erected. We undertake work throughout Dorset and into Devon, Somerset, and Wiltshire. When working with clients we aim to build a good relationship throughout the design and build process, listening to their needs and requirements and incorporating them into the building to ensure they are happy with the end result.very project is hand crafted with quality workmanship and attention to detail an integral part of everything we make. We use traditional methods combined with modern technology to create interesting and attractive structures.
