Militao Carpentry has been in business for 12 years and is located in South Sutton. In all aspects of carpentry, we provide a personable, professional, and reliable service. Everything from wardrobes and cupboards to doors and decking is covered by our expert, efficient carpentry services. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my carpentry work... Carpentry has always been a career that I've wanted to pursue since I was a child since I've always enjoyed making things out of wood. As a result, when I graduated from high school, I proceeded to college and earned a City & Guilds Foundation Construction Award in Carpentry and a City & Guilds Intermediate Construction Award in Site Carpentry. I believe that if you are going to make something, you should use the best quality wood and think carefully about what you want so that it will last you a lifetime. I am thrilled with the beautiful shaker style fitted sofa bench that Toby and Keilan have made for me! Their work is of excellent quality. Attention to detail is paid to the millimeter. From start to finish I have been impressed with Militao Carpentry. They have been professional, efficient and friendly and have created something that my family and I will use and enjoy for many years.

Toby was very prompt in his response to our initial enquiry. He offered advice on the fitting of a window bench and then gave us an estimate. The cost was more than we expected but the initial quote excluded VAT. Keiran came to complete the work. I was surprised that it was not Toby that carried out the work but it was later explained how the company operated. We asked for adjustment to one of the doors not opening easily, on finger pressure. Toby came and readjusted it and all is well. A review of the work was requested but this request came with a no reply email address. Toby suggested that we could add some further work surface to our kitchen with a table on wheels. Pictures of examples have been These appear rather high in relation to our window bench so further discussion would be helpful

I looked for a while to find someone for several carpentry jobs at my home and home office. A number of carpenters visited and submitted proposals which were all broadly the same price. Toby's was marginally more higher BUT I chose to work with him as I liked the way he approached the project, he was diligent in questions, he made a commitment on when the work could be done and, simply, I just had a good feeling about him. I am glad I did as the work was completed by two of his team (Keilan and Aaron), on time and on budget. The team were tidy, quiet (we have a small baby so that was important) and thought on their feet when tweaks and changes needed to be made. The workmanship is really good and so I could not be more pleased. Better than that, they even found a slot so this all happened quicker than I had been promised. Would definitely recommend.

We have just had a bannister and handrail installed on one side of our staircase and two small areas of our landing. I cannot rate this company highly enough!. The staff were all first class workers and very polite. They deserve five stars. Each person arrived early every morning and worked solidly throughout the day. The quality of their work is excellent and everything is checked by Toby the director.

Militao Carpentry have just completed a fully fitted Bespoke wardrobe in my master bedroom. I have found working with this company a pleasure and I am truly delighted with the finished result. I have also found the company to be efficient, responsive and timely with sending out estimates, which is a real plus when embarking on home projects.
