Cannot recommend Lee and his team enough. Lee was prompt in communicating from the start through to completion. In terms of the work and final product - Excellent! We wanted wardrobes and shelves built in two of our bedrooms. Lee came to measure and talk about my vision and had some really helpful suggestions and insights. The designs he rendered for approval were exactly what I wanted with some knowledgable inputs/improvements so there was not a lot of back and forth necessary. When it came to the install, James and Tom were prompt, efficient and helpful with putting the room back together once the work was done. The wardrobes came out beautifully with incredible attention to detail. Without a doubt, if we ever need work done again, I will be calling Lee!

We commissioned Lee and his team to design, craft and install a bespoke statement media unit in our living room. The consultation process immediately filled us with confidence and we were not disappointed. The craftsmanship of the unit is exceptional and we are so happy with the output. The project wasn’t cheap but the price reflects the quality and service. It was 100% worth it and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have a high requirement on craftsmanship as an interior designer. Lee didn't disappoint me. All the furniture Lee and his team made are great and I especially love the walnut wardrobe which is beautiful and unique and their attention to details set Purdom's Bespoke Furniture apart from the competition. My husband and I appointed Purdom’s to fit a new bedroom wardrobe and under stairs cupboard for our home. What made it special was that Lee consulted with us throughout, understanding our requirements, advising and suggesting ideas. This meant we were able to input in all details of our furniture, making it completely unique to us. When it came to fitting it we had a short time to plan it in as we were getting other decorating done. Lee was very accommodating on the timing and got the job done on time. Lee and his employee, James, did the fitting. They consulted us throughout on both pieces of furniture and were able to make minor adjustments. The finished products are of the best quality and exactly what we wanted - we are very pleased with both. A few months done the line and we still admire their work. Can’t recommend Lee and his team enough. The work’s great, they’re terrific craftsmen, real perfectionists and a pleasure to deal with. Whether you’re sure of what you want or need a bit of guidance Lee’s great at listening, suggesting and coming up with the goods. Nothing is too much trouble. He did our bathroom a couple of years ago and has just done our bathroom - both beautifully. Book now to avoid disappointment! They are, quite rightly, in demand.

I am delighted with the work done by Lee. He is a very conscientious worker and arrived promptly each day. Lee covered all the flooring with dust sheets before starting and worked non-stop. He left the workspace clean and tidy every day. The work was carried out with great care and the final results are better than I could have hoped for and at a very reasonable price. Lee was very hands on and checked daily to see if I was happy with the progress. I will be using him again shortly for more work.

Lee and his team custom designed and built our bespoke wraparound reading nook and storage cupboards in our open plan kitchen dining area. Lee came with fresh ideas where other carpenters were limited by materials and standard design. We have a beautiful design feature and practical storage area that works for our young family. I would highly recommend.

I originally found Lee through an article on Houzz. The style of carpentry was just what I was looking for and I contacted him straight away. Even though he is based on the other side of London, he was willing to come up to north London to build a bookcase in an alcove in my kitchen. Having spent quite a lot of money on new kitchen cabinets, I wanted the bookcase to complement and fit in with the rest of the room. Hiring Lee as a professional carpenter was completely different to asking my builder to do some shelving. He took the time to have a professional consultation about what was required for the space, and confirm the technical details. And once it was finally in place, it looked like it had always been there. In particular, it was a challenge to make it work with my uneven floor and ceiling! Although it was a pricier option than getting a builder, I see it as an investment. Visitors often remark on it, and I get real pleasure from using it as a solid piece of furniture.

Our builder recommended Lee to do our kitchen and we are so glad he did! Upon meeting with Lee, he was friendly, straight talking and openly honest re. timings and budget. Our initial chat with Lee was to get a rough idea of what we were thinking and the look and design of the kitchen. I had quite a clear idea in my head what I wanted but Lee also threw in other ideas and options that I could do, even doing a test on the door, to ensure we were happy with the design. Post this Lee measured up and consulted us literally to the mm on things, not leaving anything to assumption and kept us in the loop on any minor tweaks to accommodate for space purposes etc. He did several visits to map out and help us visualise. I had full confidence in Lee and trusted his judgement completely as felt he understood me and my style and took that into account.... a rare quality! He made a great suggestion to put another unit on the other side of the kitchen which I would never have thought would work but this actually made the kitchen feel complete. Upon build, he respected and cared for the space he was working in as we had just had a new floor installed and left it tidy and clean. He was confident and happy to be in contact and liaise with our electrician / plumber / worktop supplier etc to make sure everything ran smoothly both for time and build logistics. The quality of the work is fantastic and we couldn't be happier. I'm looking forward to our next utility room project with him. His passion for woodwork, attention to detail and desire to do a good job and make a happy customer really is second to none. And an all round gent!

Lee has installed two utterly brilliant units in my flat. An extra height built in wardrobe and an alcove display unit. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the installation process is utterly painless and expertly done. Super super tidy too!

Can not recommend Purdom’s Bespoke Furniture enough. Lee Purdom is an absolute master of his trade. Am about to embark on my 4th project with Lee. Quality of work is exceptional, great attention to detail and design. Budgets have been spot on and deadlines always met.

I could not be happier with the built in wardrobes and chest of drawers Lee made for my master bedroom - they look fantastic and the attention to detail and finish is perfect. Lee was an absolute pleasure to work with - clear on timings (which he stuck to), great at making suggestions and finding solutions to work around period property quirks, stuck to budget and was really tidy! I have already asked for Lee to quote for some additional work.

Starting a project is exiting and difficult in mean time, but finding the right professional is a headache in it's own. However Lee was one of the guys who got shortlisted for my small project, based on his work profile and customer reviews I made a decision to hire him for my project. From the moment he took measurements I just knew that Lee was going to do a great job, Job got completed on time and I was proven correct, Lee was not just a top professional joiner but a good bloke too, he did complete the project on time and the best possible way just as I wanted. I'm glad I hired Lee for my project and would happily hire him again for any future project.

Lee was commissioned to build us a sideboard. This had to be bespoke as it had to be built in two sections because of access issues. Lee is a very approachable person and is very passionate about his work. He came to our property and measured up and suggested a few design ideas for the sideboard which we took onboard. We decided on one of Lee's designs and proceeded with the order. Lee gave us an estimated completion date for the project which was completed on time. On the delivery day we were absolutely delighted with the sideboard that Lee had built for us. The quality of the workmanship was totally amazing, you couldn't even tell that the unit was made up of two seperate assembled units. Lee is a true professional and a perfectionist. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone who requires bespoke furniture.

Lee was employed to make a bespoke media unit and freestanding cabinet for my home. Lee was enthusiastic, professional and informative from the outset. I am so delighted with the floor to ceiling cupboards Lee and his colleague James have fitted to my dressing room, study and new loft bedroom. Following a massive refurb of my house, I lost a lot of built in storage to accommodate the new staircase leading to my loft conversion. Lee designed beautifully finished, sleek storage which complements my architect’s designs. The floor to ceiling cupboards are stylish both inside and out and have been perfectly painted to blend with the walls. Despite working on the hottest days of the year, Lee and James were a pleasure to host. They cleaned up after themselves, arrived early and finished late and did they everything they could to minimise any disruption. Storage of this quality shouldn’t look cheap and it certainly doesn’t. I was pleasantly surprised at the value for money and indeed Lee did his best to make savings as I was having a lot of work done. I would highly recommend Lee Purdom and will always use him for future projects.

We hired Lee to provide a bespoke kitchen in our cottage and cannot recommend him highly enough. From the very first meeting through to completion he was a delight to work with, always sensitive to what we wanted but also making great suggestions as to how we might achieve our goals in better ways. The quality of the joinery is outstanding, including around some awkward corners of the room - this was a genuinely bespoke project that Lee embraced with enthusiasm and respect for the property. He kept in regular touch throughout the design and install process and was reassuringly calm and professional at all times. If there were a sixth star on the rating system we would have gone for it.

I can't recommend Lee from Purdom enough. We worked together on my Kings Cross Project and the room had amazing 4.5m ceilings, so I really wanted some beautiful joinery that would be the feature piece of the room, so it had to look stunning. Lee, didn't disappoint and I was so impressed with the finish as was the client who said 'it was beyond her expectations'. Lee is really friendly and approachable, yet professional and cares about the customers satisfaction. He's great with the details and offering good advice, but working as a team in the design aspects which made it enjoyable. He's reliable and trustworthy and I am delighted to have a new partner to work with on future projects.
