Shelving Company

Jonathan made some bespoke wall shelves for our kitchen. They are absolutely stunning. We couldn’t be happier. The product and the company, have an exceptionally high quality and standard. I can’t recommend The Shelving Company highly enough.

Jonathan did an excellent job on installing 12 shelves in 3 alcoves I like the flexibility of the 'pick and mix' options he provides - I went for unpainted shelves and then painted myself Highly recommended - great value and service

Very poor finish. Shelving is crooked with messy lines and filler has been applied in a messy fashion spoiling paint work. Shelves have been cut crooked - very visibly noticeable and aesthetically unpleasing. Poor craftsmanship overall in light of the above - disappointing for the price.

I wanted strong alcove shelving that could take heavy books without interrupting supports. Jonathan installed them in less than a day, they are now filled with books and I am very happy. They look good, too.

Fabulous floating shelves and very reasonably priced given the high quality. I have used this company quite a few times and the shelving has always been to my exact measurements. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My shelves went up yesterday and are really beautiful. Some floating shelves you get can be quite wide but these are really good. Jonathan was very nice and polite and got the job done incredibly quickly. He was much cheaper than some of the other quotes I had which went up to £8.5K and we would never have been able to afford. From beginning to end, I found The Shelving Company a pleasure to work with. I found them online and submitted an inquiry and quickly Jonathan got back to me with a quote for requested services of a TV cabinet and floating shelves. Looking back at my email indicates we exchanged about 30 emails as Jonathan patiently answered all my questions and adjusted drawings! As you'll see in the pictures, he was dealing with measurements of a funny alcove shape, a large TV with protruding legs, an overhanging window sill, and on top of all of that, anything by straight walls thanks to Victorian builders! And then also dealing with me providing measurements and rough sketches on scrap paper that was photographed and emailed to him! We are absolutely thrilled with the finished result. Jonathan also installed six floating shelves in our bedroom to the same beautiful standard, all this was done in one day. He even matched the paint to our skirting boards. Couldn't be happier with the finished result and can't recommend The Shelving Company enough.

Great bespoke shelves, we ordered a set for kitchen and bedroom and ended up getting more for the living room too. Would certainly use again and recommend. We fit the shelves ourselves rather than taking up the fitting service - they are very simple to fit even for DIY novices
