When I commissioned a new 4 stories modernist house, it was a big adventure...The result proved to be very satisfactory on every level. There was a lot of custom made joinery and all my visitors and guests still appreciate the professional quality of its details. The project was complex but every step has been completed with the appropriate knowledge and the budget was respected. And I should also mentioned the pleasant relationship I had (still have) with all the people working on the project. I can only recommend this very reliable company.

I used this company to design and manufacture a bespoke formal table for my living room - I provided a brief of what I wanted - SJI went on to design a table not only based on my requirements but exceeded them by adding some secret drawers and combining oak and corian resulting in an amazing piece of bespoke furniture. Everyone who visits my house comments on how wonderful and eye catching the table is. St James also supplied and installed our kitchen, vanity tops and wardrobes - again all to the highest standards.

We hired this company to undertake work at a locally listed former police station which we developed into residential apartments/houses based in Muswell Hill, London. My criteria was to make very best use of space in small London mews house. I now have a space that works wonderfully with feature craftsmanship where required such as a beautiful part open staircase, but also lots of very clever hidden storage such hinged storage steps & drawers under kitchen units instead of a plinth. I also have full hight bifold internal doors which replace walls for flexible use of space & double sliding doors which disappear into walls on either side. The piece de resistance are high level mirrors which look like windows, they give a wonderful illusion of room height. St James were always professional, approachable & easy to work with. Some of the work was done after I moved in and the workmen were always clean and considerate and arrived when they said they would. And although I never want to move again I would certainly hire St James again.
