We could not be happier with the wardrobes that Andy built for us. Just look at the pictures! They are amazing. We worked with Andy throughout the process on how we wanted the wardrobes to look and Andy was extremely accommodating by showing us lots of different designs and visiting on numerous occasions to talk us through the process. Andy worked very hard to complete the project in a timely manner as we had other tradespeople that needed to do some work after Andy had finished. Andy was professional throughout the process and I would happily recommend him for any of your carpentry needs, and the proof is definitely in the pudding with how the wardrobes look. We are so happy with the quality finish that Andy has provided. Andy also built us an excellent downstairs cupboard below our TV which again was superb quality (and is the reason we went with Andy for the wardrobes). We will definitely use Andy for any future carpentry needs. Thanks again for all your hard work, we could not have imagined the wardrobes would look this good, both inside and out.

Hi Andy has done a brilliant job in designing and installing 3 wardrobes / cabinets and book shelves. We have an old house so no floors or walls are plumb but Andy somehow made it all fit perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. All the best Gavin

One word sums up Andy - Amazing! From start to finish Andy exceeded expectations. He was always on time, delivered on his promises, very professional and, most importantly, is clearly a talented carpenter! Andy helped us with our design ideas for a large window seat with storage and even produced drawings to allow us to visualise our project. He then gave us a fair quote, which he was able to explain and justify. Thereafter, Andy did the bulk of the build at his workshop (minimising disruption at our house), helped us choose things like wood tops + handles and then did the final fit at our home. Andy was extremely tidy and always conscious about protecting our floors etc. The standard of his actual work is excellent. The window seat fits perfectly and looks even better than expected. As we have kids, without us asking, Andy even specially reinforced the support to the seat to help protect it from wannabe stuntmen. We can't recommend Andy enough and am sure he would do a brilliant job for any customer.

Andy is very professional and creative. His advice and expertise were very helpful in helping us refine the brief for our living room cabinet within the budget we had. The final result is stunning, well executed and thought through. Delivery was flawless. We very much enjoyed working with him and will do so again without any doubt!

Andy did an amazing job of installing composite decking where old rotting decking used to be, the job turned out to be a bit more involved than was at first thought! Due to the bad condition of the sub structure, but he knows his stuff! So came in on time, within budget, and looks great

I had Tapping Carpentry in for several jobs around the house over a 6 months period. Firstly to hang some new Oak doors in the house. From the perfectionist work that we completed on those door I have re-hired Andy to do the following jobs - Construct in-built wardrobs, build a summer house in the garden 12mx10m and install new decking on a balcony. There is not enough positive things i can say about Tapping Carpentry and the work done! all jobs were done on schedule as promised with Andy doing a lot of the prep work off-site so as to save me time and mess here at my home. All jobs were priced up well, given in advance and stuck to - all jobs delivered as promised. I full recommend Tapping Carpentry for whatever you need some.

Would absolutely recommend Andy! We contacted him about a fitted alcove cabinet and he really took the time to consider exactly what we needed the cabinet to house and the surrounding plugs, wires and skirting boards. Also really appreciated how diligent he was about protecting the surrounding walls when he painted the cabinet and it all came in on budget and on time!

I cannot recommend Andy enough. I was delighted with the project he completed in my daughter’s nursery (a bespoke wardrobe and shelving). Andy took the time to talk me through the different options I had for the space, executed my preferred option brilliantly and was a pleasure to have in the house.

Contacted Andy for some Built in alcove wardrobes. From that initial chat and right the way through, the service, communication and end results were exemplary. Small tweaks to the design were incorporated as we went along making everything a very personalised process. Cleanliness, timekeeping and attention to detail I cannot fault and I’d highly recommend using Andy to anyone that will listen.

I've engaged Tapping Carpentry on a number of occasions, and would highly recommend them.
