TD Joinery provided an excellent service and helped me achieve a bespoke, interior solution on a strict budget. Our project comprised a bespoke hand made kitchen, bespoke hand made under stairs infilling unit with integral shoe draw, storage and desk area as well as bespoke side tables to match the Kitchen worktops. I approached them already with a design and they walked me through the additional information requirements and tweaks that through their experience would benefit my project. They provided an accurate and competitive price and an estimated delivery date. Upon delivery they took the time to go through installation in detail which was incredibly straightforward as much of what they produce was assembled in their workshop. We were thrilled with their work and two years on it has stood the test of time and still looks amazing. I have no reservations in recommending TD Joinery for any of your bespoke joinery requirements.

8/6/2016 We have undertaken the conversion of a substantial Grade II listed Suffolk brick barn complete with leaning walls. Listed Building Control were strict with us having to incorporate those varying angles whilst at the same time fitting windows and doors that reflected the original purpose of the Barn that varied from a mixed corn store to heavy horse stables and at one time a dairy too. Far more substantial frames and opening lights were required that certainly couldn’t be bought from normal trade suppliers. This is where we came across TD Joinery who are based some fifteen miles away on the periphery of a WW2 aerodrome. Nothing pretentious about their building but housed within it is some superb wood working machinery - and by far most importantly of all, they are operated by time served craftsmen. From start to finish, we were extremely well served and the resulting doors and windows really are faithful to the style and heritage of the barn. Aside from these fundamentals, TD Joinery also specialise in bespoke kitchens and their attention to detail in ensuring that we’ll end up with a superb working kitchen in a space that ideally would have been much larger is brilliant. Whether it is a period (as it was with us) or a more modern project that demands something well out of the ordinary, we would thoroughly recommend that you contact them. You’ll not find a luxury showroom but what you will find is the opportunity to see at first hand product being made in their workshop and to be able to discuss with someone who really does know how it is made, what the options might be and a quotation that will be kept to.

We asked TD Joinery to make us bespoke sized softwood windows (14 no.) and screen doors (4 no.) for our barn conversion extension; Dale came out to measure very quickly and talked us through the options and the fabrication process. He gave us wise advice on the double or triple glazing options, and Kate produced the drawings and quotation very quickly. We agreed an approximate production date and they kindly helped us with the drawings required by the Council for planning permission. Being first time customers, we had a lot of questions, and Kate and Dale were most helpful in answering them all; we visited their office several times to discuss ironmongery and locking options. Due to site delays, we had to put off the delivery date several times; TD were very kind in rearranging their production schedule to suit us, and let us alter the dimensions to fit the actual measured constructed openings right up to the last minute. The final bills were as quoted, there were no hidden extras. We are delighted with the windows and doors; TD treated and primed them, and we painted them. Keith the glazier was most helpful in coming to install the double glazed units when we needed them, and Nick our joiner had no trouble installing them. After-sales service was also excellent; Dale and Kate were both genuinely interested in our project. We had a corrosion problem with some of the window fastenings; Kate chased their suppliers and obtained replacements free of charge. We will need a further large glazed double-height screen door for phase two; we will most certainly be asking TD to supply it.

TD have made 6 oak doors and frames for a garden room at our home. There are 4 fully glazed doors, 1 half glazed door and 1 solid door. TD started with a visit to our home where we discussed our requirements. They then prepared a written proposal for us with design options, projected costs and anticipated timescales. The design we chose was suggested by them and was not one we had previously considered. The doors were exceptionally well made and we are delighted with the finished products. The quality of the craftsmanship is clear for all to see. The work has been completed within the projected timescales and in accordance with the estimated budget. TD gave all the necessary advice and support to our own builder, who actually fitted the doors. We have found the staff at TD very friendly approachable and supportive. We will be asking them to do some more work for us and would not hesitate to recommend them to other people.

We have been building our own home and needed a staircase that was a little different. we enlisted TD Joinery who came over to talk with us about what we would like and were able to show us some pictures of staircases so we could get an idea of what could be done. Absolutely brilliant, brief was met with no issues/problems, we got a fantastic staircase at a great price made especially for our home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
