About Us

We admit it ... we love what we do. We are traditional furniture makers, specialising in solid wood and bespoke freestanding and fitted furniture, along with antique furniture restoration. WoodArt's owner, Anton, is passionate about wood as a substance to express creativity, beauty and personal style. ''I focus on working closely with my clients to bring creative ideas to their concepts, and produce pieces that help them create positive memories''. He trained at the leading school in Central Europe for restoration & craftsmanship of traditional woodwork. Of his craft, Anton says, ''I am very detail oriented and WoodArt is passionate about providing excellent client service, particularly when clients come to us after disappointments elsewhere. The furniture making process should be enjoyable and smooth for everyone''. Anton's now been crafting beautiful bespoke kitchens, furniture and joinery to homeowners, architects, designers and contractors for nearly 20 years. We needed an alcove cupboard built to match the existing one on the other side of the chimney breast. Anton did that pefectly and to a high standard. He was thorough, pleasant and frriendly. I do not hesitate to recommend him.

Anton built and installed some great minimalist floor-to-ceiling storage for us, along with a bench seat and a dining set. Each to built to our specification and with a very high quality. From interacting with Anton you can tell he loves what he does and his work shows that. Would highly recommend and will use in the future.

Upholstered.Solutions

Anton was asked to build an ottoman in a shape of a hexagon to specific measurements. He executed the task as instructed and swiftly resulting in a fine ottoman. Would certainly use him again for future projects.

I have had works completed by several cabinet makers in the past, and this experience is the best to date. He has completed several jobs for me, from "building in" existing wardrobes, to completely bespoke cabinets, and even some glass fitting! Each time the job has been quick, clean and matching, if not better than, expectation. I would not hesitate to use Anton/WoodArt again, in fact I already have my next piece of work in mind!

Anton did a beautiful job on our cupboard and wardrobe interiors throughout our apartment, adding shelving, making drawers and a bespoke filing cabinet. The storage is so much more useful, high quality and beautiful. I was very particular and Anton was accommodating, but also made good recommendations based on his experience. I asked Anton to build a bespoke elm base for a chess set. Through out the whole process Anton was very communicative and helpful, assisting me in the design of the base, as well as taking on all my requirements. Although the project did not come to fruition on my end, I really appreciated Anton's professionalism and patience. I would highly recommend working with Anton.
