Highly highly recommend. Incredible quality and exceptional designs. Works to amazing details. One project with Matt turned into about 12. The level of his work is like no other (and we’ve renovated many houses before). If you are looking for an exceptional carpenter- look no further- you will not be disappointed. He’s very responsible, friendly on site and great with time management.

Matt fitted and designed our new kitchen. He was so professional throughout and very knowledgeable when it came to the design and layout. We are over the moon with our kitchen and would 100% recommend him.

Matt truly is an expert craftsman. I hired Wyre Forest Carpentry based on reviews and photos of his work. He is very busy but I was prepared to wait. He installed two wardrobes and understairs storage. From first contact he was approachable and easy to reach. His advice was constructive and he was confident he could give me exactly what I wanted, as opposed to another firm who were advising me against what I wanted. He provided a comprehensive quote and was happy to make adjustments as I revised my requirements. He communicated well letting me know exactly when he'd be coming. The majority of the work was completed off site and then a few days were required on site to install. The finished products are of a very high quality and I am delighted with them. Any minor issues I've had, he was able to easily fix. I am happy to recommend Matt and his carpentry is outstanding.

We are so pleased with our bespoke hallway cupboard with a special space at the bottom for our two sausage dogs. It really is a ‘showpiece’ for our hallway and will last a lifetime. Matt designed, made and fitted some bespoke full height cupboards for my small utility room which also included space for my washing machine with dryer stacked on top. Communication was great throughout. Fitting was completed in a day. Really pleased with the end result, which is to a very high standard.

Matt was brilliant from start to finish making and fitting our under stairs storage. He measured up and got quotes over quickly and gave us advice on what would work best. He and Ben did an amazing job of fitting and even came back once we had decided on handles. Couldn't be happier with the finish it looks amazing and works perfectly!

Matt advised and planned my fitted wardrobes in a tricky room with wooden beams obstructing many walls. The result was a room that had so much storage yet appeared bigger than before. The quality and workmanship is excellent plus Matt and Ben fitted it all in two days. Super job guys, many thanks

Matt did a wardrobe for our bedroom to the highest spec. It was in a dark area of our room so he installed lighting and managed to work around the coving on our ceilings keeping the character of the room. Matt was professional, clean and did a fabulous job. Great job all around and we will be back for more work to be done in the future. Would recommend Matt with no hesitation.

Matt was extremely helpful in walking us through the design phase and suggesting what had worked well for other customers, what requirements to consider etc. We received a detailed mock-up which was very helpful in finalising our decision on layouts. When it came to be installation, Matt took great pride in his work and the installation was perfect to the smallest detail. Matt was also very considerate and made as little mess as possible, and always cleaned up after himself. Matt is polite, professional and trustworthy and we felt very comfortable with him working in our home. We are very happy with the finished work and will definitely recommend Matt to anyone we know.

Matt has just completed the install of a new built-in alcove unit for our lounge as well as a new solid oak window sill and they look fabulous. From our initial contact with Matt, through the development of the design and the install, he was very clear with his communication and most importantly, the standard of workmanship very high. It was a pleasure to have Matt work in our home and we will definitely have him back to undertake more projects in the near future.

Couldn’t be happier with the work Matt undertook and the project he managed for us. We wanted to move a kitchen, from its original position to a neighbouring room - in a 400 year old house, with wonky walls and floors. We had the likes of Howden and Magnet out to quote and they couldn’t have been less interested; Matt was the absolute opposite and clearly fancied the challenge! From design, to build and fitting, it was obvious that Matt had pride in his work and total attention to detail - even when the job expanded to removing false ceilings, exposing old beams plus fitting a new wooden floor and handmade bookcase. A top man, committed to doing a good (and clean and tidy) job!

Our two new wardrobes have transformed our rooms and made them much more pleasant to live in. The quality of Matt’s workmanship is excellent with beautiful oiled ash fronts. He was able to compensate for the curved sloping ceiling with imaginative trimming along the top, too. At the first visit Matt gave helpful ideas on style and size to fit the space. He was also able to revise the second wardrobe plan to pick up on our final changes. Matt was a very cheerful and efficient workman to have in our home.

We required fitted wardrobes in a dormer style property that had a sloping ceiling. Matt listened to our needs and subsequently designed and built a 7 door wardrobe accommodating the slope of the ceiling. We could choose any colour and not be limited with choice. Matts was efficient and worked hard to produce a first class wardrobe with matching chest of draws. Solid pieces of furniture. Cannot recommend highly enough.
