Archway Carpets and the wonderful person who runs it, Mr Darrell Smith, are completely fabulous. Before I came across them, I would have found it difficult to get excited about carpets and floor coverings in general. However, having experienced the Archway Carpets service, I have been converted. I asked Darrell to come and quote for a large job, a big Victorian house with many different kinds of floor needs. It was being done up for Airbnb. He was incredibly helpful and professional, working with me to produce an excellent quote and thinking of everything so I didn't have to. He recommended the right kind of carpet for heavy use, included the bars to hold it down which went with the property, sorted out various different floor coverings for kitchens and breakfast rooms and generally did a fantastic job. It was an absolute pleasure working with him. He's a local business, rooted in his community and what he doesn't know about his area of expertise could be written on the back of a carpet tack. In big letters. By which I mean he knows everything. When you book him, you don't just get fantastic quality floor coverings and great service. The fitters are charming and professional and they go the extra mile by taking away the old carpets. I loved working with Darrell and will be booking him to refloor my bathroom next year. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
