“Phoenix Hardwood was very meticulous in their work and very responsive to the requests that we had. We have over 6000 square feet and they did most of the floors in solid wood. It is a two story, older house that was built in 1986. They had their work cut out for them since the house had lots of stairs. Dan did the stairs himself and was picky about how they were done. He was OCD about it and made sure there were no creaks and did a phenomenal job. We even felt comfortable enough to give Dan a key to our house so he could come and work even when we weren't home. I highly recommend hiring this company, their work is exceptional!”

“We haven't yet purchased our wood flooring from Olympic Hardwood Flooring, but we certainly will (I'll update my review at that time). I didn't want to wait until our flooring project starts to submit my comments on the excellent service provided by Rafal at Olympic Hardwood Flooring, because if you live in the Phoenix area and are thinking about hardwood, you need to know about Olympic. We are planning to install engineered hardwood floors in the main living areas of our home, a very large project with several other moving parts that need to fall into place. As any consumer should do for such a large project, we have done our research and here is what I realized: 1) For wood, I want someone who specializes in wood; not a company that deals mostly with tile and carpet and, on occasion, wood. I want someone with knowledge of the product and how it will hold up to our lifestyle. There are some other wood-only vendors in the area, but past experience (with one of the obvious choices in particular) caused me to not even consider them for this project. 2) I want someone who is not going to pressure me. From the start, the customer service delivered by Rafal has been outstanding. He has never pressured us into a product or line, has addressed all of our questions and concerns (and there have been a lot of questions) and has never tried to up-sell us. 3) For large projects that can impact our entire home and lifestyle, price is not the deciding factor; however, after getting other estimates, we found that Olympic Hardwood has the best prices....The icing on the cake. We are anxious to get started on our project and I'll post an updated review and photos once it's complete.”

I had extensivie work done in my house and the skill of the workmen and technicians, the meticulous work of the painters, the old world craftsmanship of the stone and tile workers, and the insistence on quality by supervisors at every level are the best by far of any work I've seen anywhere. “We decided that it was time to finish off our bedrooms with laminate flooring to match the rest of our house, so our first stop was actually a Home Depot in Mesa. Home Depot had offered a $1.00 per SF installation deal, which sounded fantastic. However, it turned out to be a bait and switch scam, and their price came in outrageously high after they overbuilt the estimate by approximately 100%!!! Then I found Royal Wood Flooring on http://backpage.com, and spoke to Vinny the owner. He visited our house within a day or two to measure the floors, and his price came in super reasonable. We purchased all of the materials for the project at The Floor Store in Mesa, and had them delivered to our house. A week later, Vinny and his crew arrived to install the new flooring, and all I can say is "WOW", they simply did a fantastic job. Vinny's crew arrived on time, and finished the flooring install the same day! Vinny is a very honest and dependable contractor, and his knowledge and integrity were evident from the start. The total cost of our project ended up being less than half of what Home Depot had originally estimated!! I would not hesitate to use this company again, and will highly recommend Vinny and his friendly crew to my family and friends!!”

“Highly recommend this business for all your flooring needs. We went into the showroom and the guys there are friendly and knowledgeable. We took home a few samples of flooring to see how it would look in our home. We realized the current flooring in our home is thicker than what we wanted for the price we were looking for so they came up with some ideas on what we could do. “We bought two rooms of carpet and two rooms and a hallway of wood flooring. There was no pressure. Craig was helpful, very knowledgable, and relaxed. He answered all our questions thoroughly and then allowed us to discuss and decide without interference. We were allowed to take a sample home for a couple days. This was extremely helpful. Both the carpet and the flooring looked different when we got them home. The decision was not only a lot easier but obvious. My husband installed the flooring. He is very thankful to those who gave him helpful hints and suggestions. The carpet professionals were (WOW) excellent - proficient and personable. I would have preferred that they ask me which scraps I wanted rather than just leave what they wanted to leave. We are extremely satisfied and proud of our decisions and the look of our new flooring.
