About Us

- Floors - We have over 15 years' experience in supplying and fitting solid & engineered wood flooring. Most of our finishes are bespoke and hand-made locally in our workshop. Whatever the size of your project we have the experience to help you choose the right wood flooring, in the exact colour and finish you want. - Doors - Need the perfect door and ironmongery to finish off your property? We have one of the largest displays of internal and external doors in South West London, along with a wide range of ironmongery. Alternatively, we'll happily custom-create doors especially to fit your home. Oversized, traditional or contemporary - whatever the reason a standard door won't do, we have the answer. - Joinery - We also make bespoke furniture for the home - cupboards, radiator covers, kitchen cabinets and furniture. Examples are on display and we'll be happy to discuss your project with you. Come in store and talk to an expert!

I really enjoyed to work with GFDF. Good location, huge range of flooring, different coating available. I was given a good discount because of the bulky order. Also I really satisfied with the width of battens: I could find my favourite 26 cm! About staff: the can answer all question very professionally and give really good and helpful advice! Strongly recommended to those who is thinking about a new floor.

Great service and the floor looks amazing. Michael provided us with valuable advice and was very patient while we decided on our wood floor specification and colour. The fitters that Michael recommended were also fantastic.

GFDF have supplied us with a beautiful wood floor. They were helpful, efficient and pleasant to deal with and recommended a top class team to fit the floor. The showroom has a wide range of different floorings and stains on display which are a good size ensuring that you get a clear idea of what you are buying. Years of experience also means the advice they gave while we were choosing was spot on. The guys who fitted the floor were precise in describing what they would do, efficient in carrying it out and cleared up perfectly afterwards. When a small aftercare issue arose, GFDF were quick to come and sort it out. I have no hesitation in giving the company the highest recommendation. We also have another wood floor which they supplied many years ago. It's still gorgeous and has stood the test of time.

This is the second time I have used GFDF Ltd, as we had the same oak flooring in our previous house about 8 years ago. When we moved last year, and did a renovation project I ordered the same smoked oak wood planks. The quality of the oak flooring is excellent and Michael from GFDF is always so helpful, adapting to our ever changing building work schedule and being so flexible with our requirements. The oak flooring has just been put down and I can't fault the workmanship, and we are really delighted with the result again. I also ordered a breakfast bar and work surfaces for the kitchen, matching the oak flooring and we are so pleased with the overall effect. I have no hesitation in recommending GFDF Ltd.

Michael and his team are a wealth of knowledge and advice for all aspects of wooden flooring. Certainly locally I wouldn't go anywhere else having been a customer of theirs for over a decade. We recently ordered extra wide and extra long engineered oak floor boards to complete a house renovation and whilst the boards were perfect, the colour we chose didn't seem to adhere consistently to the boards. GFDF were quick on the case and worked with the building team to resolve the issue. GFDF are a prime example of why you should shop local.

The flooring supplied by GFDF met all expectations in terms of quality and customer service. From initial advice to delivery the company was highly professional, offering expert and friendly advice and happy to deliver to Oxfordshire. The floors were fitted by my carpenter who found them easy to install and, he along with my builders are very impressed with the quality. I found exactly what I wanted in the showroom, where there is a wide selection to suit all tastes.

I can't praise Michael and his recommended fitters highly enough. After dithering about for many years I bit the bullet and, advised by Michael, bought the most beautiful oak flooring from him. It was fitted last week and looks stunning. The quality of the wood and workmanship is second to none.

We came to Michael at GFD via a recommendation from somebody who had worked with him several times before. We had already done a lot of research and found GFD had the best range and colours of flooring, and really good quality. Michael was really knowledgeable and helpful, the flooring arrived quickly and on time, there was a slight variation in colour with was rectified immediately and will good will. Really good & we would work with GFD again, would recommend.
