Our company has always been in the same family since 1819 (we now realise 1809!) and S&M. Myers in 1866. However, our carpet business really started in the 1970's with second-hand government surplus carpet, which gave us a unique insight to how carpets wear. We then purchased a couple of bankruptcies, then handled Allied carpets and other seconds from companies like Wilton Royal and then finally to regular perfect roll stock.
