SJH Carpets holds local business values at the heart of everything we do. With over 16 years of experience, we offer a trusted service for our clients, providing a place for people who want accountability, advice and constant proactive progress with new products and fitting techniques. Above all, we ensure our clients are comfortable with our products and service, and that they can contact us if they need any advice or if they have any issues before, during and after the installation. We offer a complete range of floor-coverings, carpet, wood and vinyl, and latterly the newer and growing Luxury Vinyl tile products. We strive to provide predominantly British made products. Wherever possible, we use suppliers who have strong environmental credentials that are directly attributed to their processes. We uplift existing floors, move furniture and have verifiable Health and Safety procedures for our staff and verifiable waste disposal routes on recyclable material and landfill too. We work with suppliers that care about how their products are installed, and as such we send all of our fitters to relevant training courses. We have a strong history of working with local workers which we have taken on as apprentices, encouraging them to have a desire to care about their work and enable them to become craftsmen, not just tradesmen. 90% of our fitting is carried out by employed fitters, allowing us to retain ownership of fitting quality. Our market is predominantly domestic, but we have taken on a number of commercial projects where the overriding desire of the client is product, effectiveness of product, accountability and flexibility.
