“Emilie was brilliant. She did a complete renovation of my Victorian terrace, upstairs and down, including kitchen extension and reviving some original features that had been stripped away. She took my (attempts at explaining) my style and turned it into an actual vision. She gave me solutions to using the space which I had been defeated by and saved me a lot of money on bad furniture decisions. The contractors Emilie brought in were great too. A friendly, hard working team I came to know and like well. Before she got to work, I basically regretted buying my house. The house had so many issues and we didn't have a lot of room in the budget, but she delivered a home I never want to leave. She is very friendly and professional, never lets you feel like you're alone. Highly recommend.”

“I was very impressed with Battersea Builders. the work was completed with the minimum of fuss and they were so clean unlike many! I liked the respectful manner in which they dealt with us and the fact they were English and so with no communication problems whatsoever. The job was to build a stud firewall and install a fire door post interior decoration and we were very concerned at the mess and damage that would be caused. We needn't have worried. From the moment of meeting Will I felt safe. he had a reassuring manner and clearly knew what he was talking about. They arrived at the appointed date and on time, prepared the work space properly and thoroughly, cleaned up inside and outside every night and really didn't cause us any inconvenience. They even brought their own flasks and so offers of coffees and teas were not taken up. The work itself was done expertly and was faultless. There was removal and making good to do as well and that was completed to the high standard we had come to expect from them. There was only one glitch when they didn't turn up on a day, due to communication confusion, but otherwise it was seamless. I cannot recommend Battersea Builders more highly. You will eb safe in their hands and delighted with the result.”

“VC Design was recommended to me and I would do the same without hesitation. We contacted Veronica about drawing up plans for our ground floor extension and although conceptually we had a clear idea of what we wanted to she was invaluable in advising us how to best use the space and our options within the parameters of planning. She also contacted previous clients and arranged for us to see the work they had done, this allowed us to see first hand some of the ideas we had discussed. Veronica submitted the planning application and we have now received our approval - a job very well done.”

The level of craftsmanship they provided allowed the architect to bring the house back to it's period routes using good design executed beautifully by the Costa team. The team were impeccable effective with their time, they worked cleanly and left no margin for error. They stayed on track and were (give or take 3%) within the initial price for the tendered job. I found them a real pleasure to deal with and we could not be happier to live in what is now our beautiful home. I would have absolutely no reservation in recommending them to anyone committed to doing a project well.”
